The new Back Cove 33 is the largest yacht in the Back Cove range. This yacht tries to offer tremendous value, great style and modern practicality.
The 33 is combining the maneuverability of a smaller yacht with the convenient sleeping arrangement of larger motor yachts. With all her helm seating and galley-up, she is ideal for cruising.
Below deck is a large and comfortable vee-berth, L-settee with pilot berth above, and a head with stall shower. On the helm deck, a full galley stretches out aft of the helm seat and to port is a dinette where four adults can sit and enjoy a meal.
Forward of the dinette, a double mate’s seat is a comfortable perch for the navigator. The helm deck is airy and bright with overhead hatches, opening side windows and a center opening windshield.
In the cockpit a large bench seat allows comfortable lounging while underway or when anchored in a peaceful cove. Engine access is extraordinary, as the helm deck including the port side dinette raises to expose the yacht’s mechanical systems.
Back Cove 33
The vee-hull and dependable diesel engine get the Back Cove 33 on plane at ten knots, and it will cruise efficiently and comfortably at 20 knots while sipping fuel at less than 12 gallons per hour. The hull has downward turning chines and long spray rails to provide additional lift and push spray down, and away from the windshield. Built with structural E Glass and vacuum bagged Divinycell, the 33 is both strong and quiet. NidaCore is used as a sandwich material in the deck to reduce engine and exhaust noise, and the best deck hardware is selected to reduce hardware rattles and for it’s long lasting, good looks.
The Back Cove 33 made is debut at the 2007 Miami Boat Show in February.
