The 192 Islander is equipped whit a standard 190 hp MerCruiser® 4.3L Alpha I engine that provides a top speed of 50 mph. If the power provided by the standard engine is not enough for you Baja Marine offers you two optional engines: one MerCruiser® 5.0L Alpha I whit 220 hp and one MerCruiser® 5.0L MPI Alpha I whit 260 hp. You want to take a look at the engine? No problem! The engine can be easily reached with one hand by lifting the hatch which is supported by 2 gas assist struts.
