The 30 Outlaw is the ultimate sidekick for speed fiends. The 30 Outlaw’s deck and windscreens sculpted design means you slice through the water with ease. Its True-V hull has been reinforced with carbon fiber in the most stressed areas to endure the roughest conditions you and nature shell out, and MerCruiser power lets you put your good-times companion through its paces.
Engine
The Baja 30 Outlaw is offered whit a standard 320 hp MerCruiser® MX 6.2L/320 HP/Bravo I engine that provides enough power to enjoy a ride on the water. The Baja Marine team offers the possibility to choose the engine of the 30 Outlaw from the standard 320 hp engine to an optional 600 hp engine. The four optional engines are: MerCruiser® 496 Magnum/375 HP/Bravo I; MerCruiser® 496 Magnum HO/425 HP/Bravo X/Latham Steering; MerCruiser® HP 525EFI/525 HP/Bravo XR/ Latham Steering/K Planes; MerCruiser® 600SCI/600 HP/Bravo XR/Latham Steering/K Planes. The speed addicted can enjoy a maximum speed of over 70 mph choosing one of the optional engines.
The motors are secured on a GIL Marine system mounted on the stringers bonded to the hull. The engine hatch can be used like a sun pad.
Exterior
30 Outlaw
The Baja Marine team has incorporated aerospace technology into the hull lamination of the 30 Outlaw and finished the deck design with wind tunnel testing. The result is a great performance and a cabin whit more space. The hull design is the same like at the others Baja boats: a conventional 24 degrees V-shape hull. They used this hull design because they wanted a good turning stability despite the sacrifice of a little top speed.
Interior
The 30 Outlaw can accommodate up to 6 passengers and provides sleeping capacity in the cabin for 3 persons.
30 Outlaw (cockpit)
In the cockpit the driver and his companion can relax in two McLeod electric seats while the other passengers are in the back on a simple but comfortable sculpted bench enjoying the ride. The helm station has the shifters on the left side of the dash and the throttles on the right. The controls are made by Livorsi Marine, and privately labeled for Baja. Also from Livorsi are the gauges, which were organized by engine, in blue rims without bezels. Drive and tab switches are within reach of the throttles, as is the easy to read drive and tab indicators. The helm is equipped whit a Clarion stereo and a self-draining glove box.
The cabin of the Baja 30 Outlaw can be access from the helm station. Inside the cabin the Baja designers used, instead of the typical V-berth, two very long couches that convert quickly into a place for three people to sleep. Between the two couches a snack table can be inserted, resulting in a large comfortable dinette area.
This boat has also a mini-galley equipped with a pressurized faucet and sink, a microwave oven located on a large Formica countertop, a power distribution panel and a CD changer and below the counter an AC/DC refrigerator and storage cabinet.
