Engine
The 38 Sport has two 295 hp Volvo-Penta IPS 400 Duoprop diesel engines. These engines are 30% more efficient in fuel consumption, are reducing the noise by 50% and increase the top speed and acceleration by 25%.
Exterior

The exterior of the Bavaria 38 Sport offers a stainless steel bow rail, a bathing platform built into the stern, with bathing ladder, all integrated in a 38 feet deep V stepped hull. The exterior look guarantees that this sport cruiser won’t go unnoticed.
Interior
The interior of the 38 Sport consists mainly of wood finishings that gives it a warm atmosphere. Under the deck you’ll find a forward cabin with a double berth and lots of storage place located in two cupboards on eider side of the cabin. The aft cabin offers two single berths and a two-seater. Booth cabins have plenty of space and natural light especially do to the seven hull windows located along the boat.

The galley has a C shaped seater with an oval shaped wood table. Of course the galley has all the utilities and storage place a master chef needs and much more.
On the 38 Sport you’ll also find a head compartment situated aft of the galley with a toilet and shower.
Test drive
The introduction of the Volvo Penta IPS system as a standard feature is maybe the best think Bavaria made when they design this boat. Except the improvement of the speed and acceleration and the reduction of noise and fuel consummation they improved the driving of the 38 Sport. Another thing that offers a smooth ride with increase maneuverability is the shape of the hull.
