At her first participation in the Antigua Sailing Week, Indio collected three of the most important trophies of the regatta:
First place Overall of the Performance Cruiser Fleet (50 yachts)
First place in her class Performance Cruiser I (12 yachts)
Best Elapsed Time Performance Cruiser Fleet (50 yachts)
Right from the first day of the regatta, Indio proved to be the yacht to beat: despite having the highest rating of the whole cruising fleet, she won in real and corrected time by a large margin.
As a result of her stunning and consistent performance, the Wally 80 finished the regatta with four wins and a second place out of five races, that were characterised by off-shore courses ranging from 19 to 23 miles and the typical Caribbean conditions, 15-22 knots of wind with gusts of 26 knots and choppy sea.
