Raymarine fitted their latest top-of-the-range GPS navigation system in Sun Lik Beer, prior to the Powerboat P1 German Grand Prix of the Sea, and both boat and sponsor benefited from a strong team performance with Ocean Dragon Racing finishing in second place in the SuperSport class.
The system, which was specially set-up for Powerboat P1 circuit racing and rules, downloads data with tracking information which can then be loaded onto a computer for post-race analysis. The team is then able to look critically over the whole race and prove exactly what has happened at any particular moment of competitive action.

Raymarine’s Mark Phillips helped install the system and train Ocean Dragon team members to familiarize itself with the set-up and its additional available features, which they will be aiming to put to best-use as the 2007 Powerboat P1 British Grand Prix of the Sea approaches!
