Starting with its successful launch of the 121 ft. Snapper at the London Boat Show, Sunseeker Charters has begun its third year on a high wave. In February, the company announced an increased representation around the world through its distributor network. Already offering widespread charter destinations in Australia, the Americas, Asia and Europe, Sunseeker Charters will now have additional profile in these areas. New associations have been developed with Sunseeker Australia, Sunseeker Cannes, Sunseeker Channel Islands Ltd, MGM Boats Ltd (Ireland) and Sunseeker Norway.
The addition of several new boats was announced in March. During this year’s Miami Boat Show, owners of brand new vessels—including the Sunseeker 121 ft. Yacht, 90 Yacht and Predator 82 — confirmed their intention to charter exclusively through Sunseeker Charters. The 121 ft. M4 will be available for charter following its debut at the Fort Lauderdale Boat Show at the end of October 2007. The vessel comes complete with a scuba tank compressor, as well as a full complement of water toys.
On a related note, Sunseeker International Ltd has agreed outline terms with US-based Luhrs Marine for the purchase of its Legend Yacht manufacturing facilities at Osprey Quay, Portland on England’s south coast. The site will be acquired to accommodate the company’s planned expansion with a license to use the facilities immediately, and production starting as soon as the purchase is complete.
