The event will focus more on pre-summer deals as opposed to the over-the-top fanfare some serious buyers associate with boat shows, according to show organizer Duncan McIntosh. The Marina del Rey Show presents this year’s best opportunity for dealers and brokers to move their remaining inventory of new, used and brokerage boats before the slower summer season hits.
The Marina del Rey show will feature approximately 150 to 200 boats displayed in the water including motor yachts, sport fishers, cruisers, and trawlers up to 70 feet in length, along with an extensive assortment of marine accessory booths. Some of the area’s major dealers and brokers like H & S Yachts, Hampton, Golden West, Marine Max, Randall Burg, Cranchi, and Horizon Yachts have already reserved space for the show.
The show is under new management this year by the Duncan McIntosh Co. Inc., which has produced the Newport and Lido yacht shows for more than three decades.
