Cruising yachts

Cruisers are by the far the most common in private usage, making up most of the 7 m to 14 m (23 to 46 ft) range. These vessels can be quite complex in design, as designers try to find a balance between docile handling qualities, interior space, good light-wind performance and on-board comfort.

When the Formula 400 Super Sport was introduced in May of 1998 it earned the coveted "Boat of the Year" award from Boating magazine and most recently a Product Excellence award as Sport Cruiser of the year from Powerboat Magazine! The 400 SS has redefined the high performance express cruiser, and its famous FAS³TECH® hull, customized for the 400 SS, boasts a stable, dry ride with agility of a true performer and top speed of 60 mph provides captain and crew an exciting ride.

The Formula 370 Super Sport is poised to settle in as a logical transition from the Formula 330 Sun Sport to the 400 Super Sport, carrying off the combination of beautiful styling and exhilarating performance that is expected of a Formula. The hand of Thunderbird’s exclusive designer, John Adams, is clearly evident in the 370 Super Sport. While striking in line and plentiful in amenities, this performance artist belies its own agility and speed generated by Formula’s stepped-hull FAS³TECH technology.

The Formula 27 PC combines the best of cruising comfort and superior performance in a truly innovative design. The swept-back look is accomplished through the curved glass windshield and streamlined exterior styling. The 27’ deep-V hull is designed to slice through the waves, delivering the exciting performance which always defines a Formula.

The 34 PC provides exhilarating freedom on the water and truly enjoyable cruising.

The 40 PC features a multitude of stowage areas and a generous cockpit for captain and crew. The spacious cabin has up to 6’ 9" of headroom and is complete with comfortable appointments for the entire crew to enjoy.
