The 350 Sun Sport far surpasses the ordinary in design, layout and appointments. Extremely roomy and versatile at 35’ in length with a 10’ 9" beam, the 350 SS advances the Sun Sport day boating experience even further.
Engine
Powered by Volvo® or Mercruiser® gas or diesel power from twin 300 to 425 HP engines in the Formula deep-V hull, the Formul 350 SS is smooth, fast and exciting.
Exterior
The sporty exterior of the Formula 350 Sun Sport is made from pressure treated Perma Panel structural hull matrix with stainless steel insertions. The swim platform has a stainless steel swim ladder for easy acces.
Interior
350 Sun Sport (helm)
At the helm of the 350 Sun Sport is a twin command seating, adjustable for sitting, leaning or standing positions, and a handsome brushed metallic and burl steering wheel. Livorsi® illuminated gauges are set in aerodynamic, stainless-rimmed instrument pods. The brushed metallic dash panels and accessory rocker switches, along with burl finish panels and numerous navigation and engine monitoring options, are a commanding presence.
A full-feature stereo remote control on the dash commands the six marine-grade speakers accented with polished stainless steel grilles and separate tweeters installed throughout the cockpit, including two mounted on the transom for swimmers at anchor. There’s also the option of a 200W cockpit subwoofer. An iPod/MP3 port is an up-to-date feature also conveniently placed at the helm to play favorites with full amplification and excellent clarity. Fifteen stainless steel drink holders conveniently secure beverages from every position in the cockpit, and the wetbar with its integrated sink, Corian® countertop, trash container and a 36-quart Igloo® cooler is perfect for relaxed on-water entertaining.
350 Sun Sport (cockpit)
The 350 cockpit storage is smoothly finished and abundant. The U-shaped aft lounge easily converts to a table arrangement or a large sunpad, creating versatile seating and entertainment configurations as desired. Port side seating is perfect for two seated passengers or one reclining, so conversation with the captain and companion is easily enjoyed by all. 350 Sun Sport cockpit seating is designed for contoured comfort as well as practical durability with PreFixx®-treated transportation grade upholstery over DriFast® foam, allowing water to drain freely. Fiberglass and rotocast internal seat forms as well as polyurethane marine paneling further resist the elements by eliminating wood in the cockpit.
350 Sun Sport (aft cabin)
The 350 Sun Sport cabin is an invitation to friendly socializing or carefree relaxation. Low maintenance, wood-grain steps lead the way to an inviting curved Ultraleather™ lounge with beautifully coordinated custom décor pillows and draperies. Add the dual-height, high-gloss solid wood dining table for a refreshing snack, or filler cushions to create a berth, taking full advantage of all available space. Aft is the full-size, double berth enhanced with a shape-conforming Sensus® memory foam mattress, individual reading lights and an optional 15 in. television to complete the ideal environment for sleeping aboard.
The galley is complete with a full Corian® countertop, stainless steel sink, refrigerator and microwave oven along with plenty of storage in the high-gloss, Deep Cherry finish cabinets. This cabin changes gray days into bright with an impressive entertainment center featuring a 26 in. television, Kenwood® AM/FM/CD stereo with high-power output and two 150W 6 ½ in. 2-way marine-grade speakers to fill the cabin with full, vibrant sound. Comfortable daytime entertaining, this versatile luxurious cabin is a haven that delights the senses.
350 Sun Sport (galley)
Test drive
The 350 Sun Sport is a responsive boat that takes hard turns well with no slide and with little loss of speed. When it jumpes the wakes of bigger boats or crossed her own, the 350 sliced through them clean and doesn’t pound. Smooth turns and great acceleration is usual for the new 2008 350 Sun Sport. It can reach a top speed of 56.8mph and can cruise at 31.1mph.
Conclusion
Formulas have long been noted for sleek styling and superior performance, and the 350 Sun Sport remains true to demanding offshore requirements. Equipped to explore on the water, the 350 SS will fully satisfy your adventurous day boating lifestyle.
