2007 Fountain Mercury 32 Center Console

Posted on by

The Fountain Mercury 32 Center Console is the perfect boat. It has all the bells and whistles of larger fish boats and everything you could need to be a top competitor in the offshore tournaments.

Engine

Unusually for a Fountain boat the engines of the 32 Center Console are very quiet. The recommended Mercury Verado four-strokes, 275 hp, twin engines are silent, but fast. The 32 CC can reach a top speed over 62 mph. Imagine what can you do with one of the optional engines; let’s say the 300 hp twin Mercury Verado.

Exterior

The hull of the 32 Center Console has been built in response to the request of boat owners to satisfy their lack of space. The hull of the 32 CC provides stability at rest and when trolling, and really opens up the interior space. Fountain used vinylester resins and quad-directional fiberglass. The hull is cored with high-density foam, and the hull and deck are glassed together and bonded five ways to create a solid, one-piece unit

Interior

The most important think on a fishing boat is the storage space, space that you’ll find on the 32 Center Console.

At the helm you’ll find SmartCraft gauges, a large-screen electronics can be mounted in a huge, flat panel that’s protected by a lockable Plexiglas cover. The locking battery-selector switch is located below the helm area. The captain seat is big and comfortable and your passengers can seat on the bench located on the back part of the boat or they can transform with the optional u-shaped seating the bow area in to a relaxing place.

In the head compartment you’ll going to find a VacuFlush toilet, a sink and a shower.

Test drive

What can I say about the way the 32 Center Console handles? It’s a Fountain boat so it handles perfectly. The 32 CC can pass over the speed bumps at every angle without a problem. If you want to try it, you can turn the 32 CC with one engine in forward and the other in reverse and you’ll realized how well you can maneuver this boat. The design of the hull makes it to “grip” the water on thigh turns, while the power-assisted hydraulic steering provided smooth, effortless control.
