The recommended power for the 42 Executioner is a 525 hp Twin Mercury EFI w/Bravo 1-XR/SSM engine, but Fountain puts at the buyer disposal another four power option all Twin Mercury: a 425 hp 496 HO w/Bravo 1-XR/SSM engine, a 525 hp #6 w/Herring Props engine, a 600 hp SCI w/Bravo 1-XR/SSM engine and a 700 hp SCI NXT #6 engine. The top speed that the 42 Executioner can reach is over 86 mph. The engine can be easily accessed throw a motorized hatch.
