The First exemplar of the brand new 30 m Couach, the 3000 Fly has been launched in Gujan-Mestras. The design of this motor yacht that will be presented in preview at the 2007 Cannes Boat Show draws on successfully the features of the new Couach yachts family: sleek deckhouse profile, vast side windows, and streamlined air inlets. A new ship, CRN 126, marks the success of the CRN, which today has 5 vessels ranging in length from 177 to 236 ft. simultaneously under construction. The first pieces of sheet metal were recently cut for this new 193 ft. mega-yacht, further proof of the successful working relationship between the Zuccon International Project form and the technical staff of the CRN. The sea trials are underway for the open yachts Itama, Itama Forty and Itama FiftyFive, organised by Bocche di Bonifacio, the exclusive local Itama dealer for the regions of Sardinia, Liguria, Piedmont and Lombardy. The event not to be missed is the Porto Rotondo Boat Show that will take place at Porto Rotondo’s suggestive marina from 25th April to 1st May. Rainsford Saunders Design has released details of a 159.12 ft. high-speed motor yacht project that they are currently developing for a Middle Eastern client. CRN sold 31 megayachts between September 2004 and the present. Semi-custom maxi-yachts ranging in length from 95.14 to 141.07 ft. accounted for 23 of the sales, while the 8 other vessels were fully customised steel ships at lengths of from 150.91 to 236.22 ft. These sales results were unprecedented for the Ancona shipyard, and probably for the entire nautical industry as well.
