The 2009 Sea-Doo Wake 155 is the coolest and most affordable way to be initiated to tow sports.
Introduce the kids to your world with one of the new 2009 Sea-Doo Wake 155, and you’ll be the coolest parents on the block. The high rise pylon with retractable spotter grips has been redesigned for 2009, the convex mirrors offer greater visibility, and the 17-function digital information center gives you all the info you need at a glance.
The new 2009 Sea-Doo Wake 155 is powered by the legendary 155 hp Rotax 4-TEC engine (CARB 3 – Star certified). This fuel-efficient, three cylinder, marine-designed Rotax 4-TEC engine pairs high performance and reliability with low emissions and one of the lowest sound levels of any four-stroke watercraft in the industry.
Sea-Doo watercrafts are some of the most environmentally-friendly boats on the water today. In fact, the entire Sea-Doo lineup is CARB 3-Star certified from the California Air Resource Board for ultra low emission and BRP is the only manufacturer whose entire line-up is CARB 3-Star certified for ultra low engine emissions.
The exclusive O.P.A.S. (Off-Power Assisted Steering System) assists maneuverability in off-power situations. Side vanes automatically deploy for additional directional assistance.
The 2009 Wake 155 has the industry’s only Closed-Loop Cooling System (CLCS) that improves durability and keeps the engine at the ideal operating temperature for maximum performance. Unlike open-loop systems, which draw water from riding environment directly into the engine, the CLCS uses coolant to keep the engine running at the ideal temperature, much like a car’s radiator. Closed-loop cooling also keeps out corrosive salt water and debris, meaning you’ll be on the water more and in the shop less.
The D-SEA-BEL sound reduction system reduces sound levels, making Sea-Doo watercraft some of the quietest on the water. Sea-Doo’s patented sound reduction system combines a series of resonators, acoustical foam and vibration-absorbing components to make Sea-Doo watercraft some of the quietest on the water.
The Sea-Doo Learning Key is a great way to save gas and perfect for less experimented riders who want to get used to slower speeds for riding confidence. Standard on all models, the exclusive Sea-Doo Learning Key allows you to limit your speed to two choices: about 35 mph (56 km/h) or about 50mph (80 km/h) or 45 mph (72 km/h) for the 155 hp.
Another interesting feature of the Wake 155 is the D.E.S.S (Digitally Encodes Security System) that prevents unauthorized use of your watercraft. The watercraft is embedded with a unique microchip that is engaged with your lanyard. Simple yet innovative, it’s much easier to use that code systems found on other brands.
You will find everything you need when you ride the Wake 155: a removable board rack that allows you to carry your board on the side, the 17 function digital information center with easy to read gauges for info at a glance, the spotter footwells that provides added comfort for the spotter, the fold-down re-boarding step for easier and more comfortable re-boarding in deep water, the wide handlebar that offers more comfort and enhances maneuverability, the comfortable seat for up to 3 persons and the eetractable high-rise ski pylon.
Don’t forget about the watertight and removable storage bin and front storage tray for all your gear, wet or dry that offers larger capacity, easier access and is also portable.
