Infiniti announced pricing on the all-new 2008 EX35 personal luxury crossover SUV at the 2007 Los Angeles International Auto Show. The Infiniti EX35 will go on sale at Infiniti retailers nationwide on December 21, 2007 at a price starting at $31,300.

Volkswagen Slipstream design sketch was announced as the winner of the Los Angeles Auto Show’s 2007 Design Challenge. This year’s theme, RoboCar of 2057, asked eight automotive design studios to form their vision of the future by depicting a vehicle that incorporates artificial intelligence engineered to make life easier and more attractive to consumers 50 years from now.

Kia unveiled the all-new KND-4 compact SUV concept vehicle at the Los Angeles International Auto Show. Having made its world debut at the Seoul Motor Show in April, the KND-4 concept was specifically designed to provide an idea of what next-generation Kia compact SUVs will be like. Conceived at the Kia Design Center in Korea, the new concept exhibits a powerful and strong character that corresponds with Kia’s philosophy of "Exciting and Enabling."

Subaru of America unveiled the all-new 2008 Impreza WRX STI at the Los Angeles International Auto Show. The ultimate performance Subaru is powered by a 305-horsepower Boxer engine and features a new level of driver-selectable powertrain- and dynamic handling-control. The 2008 WRX STI is built exclusively as an aggressively styled wide-fender 5-door model with a design strongly influenced by the brand’s competition heritage.

Hyundai unveiled the Veloster Sporty Coupe Concept at the Los Angeles International Auto Show for the first time in North America. Styled at Hyundai’s Design and Technical Center at Namyang, Korea the Veloster coupe is the third in a series of daring concept cars to be developed by the company’s central styling studio.

The BMW 1 Series Coupe made its North American debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show. By combining sporty rear-wheel-drive dynamics, agile handling, powerful engines and seating for four, the 1 Series Coupe will reinvent the niche created by the legendary BMW 2002. On sale in the spring of 2008, the 1 Series Coupe will be available in two versions; the 128i and the 135i. Pricing will start from $35,675 for the 135i and $29,375 for the 128i.

The 2008 Chevrolet Tahoe Hybrid — the first General Motors vehicle to use the company’s all-new two-mode hybrid system — has been named Green Car Journal’s 2008 Green Car of the Year(R). The award was presented at a press conference this morning at the Los Angeles Auto Show.

The 2008 MINI Clubman, an all-new addition to the MINI model line, has just made its North American debut today at the Los Angeles International Auto Show, bowing to the audience most unconventionally, with its rear-end first! With a little more room in the back and an innovative door configuration, the eagerly anticipated MINI Clubman defies convention in its concept and style. This all new addition to the MINI family will go on sale in the US February 16th, 2008 as both a Cooper and a Cooper S model. The MINI Cooper Clubman will be offered with a MSRP of $20,600, while the MINI Cooper S Clubman will come with a MSRP of $24,100. Both prices include a $650 Destination charge.

BMW will unveil one of the most anticipated new cars of the year as it raises the performance benchmark once again with the North American premieres of the 2008 M3 Coupe and Sedan at the Los Angeles Auto Show. The all-new 4th generation 2008 M3 Coupe and the all-new 4 door M3 Sedan will arrive in the spring of 2008 and will feature a high-revving V-8 engine developing 414-horsepower at 8,300rpm, a first in a series-production BMW M3 and the highest-performing M3 ever offered by BMW’s M division.
