A new expression of driving pleasure, the 207 SW RC combines a sporty spirit with high-quality equipment all contained in stylish design full of character, with five full-size seats. It has been designed to captivate customers who live life to the full. The 207 is the latest and third member of the 207 family, is characterised by its dynamic equipment styling.

Thirty-five years ago Ferdinand Alexander Porsche, architect of the classic design of the Porsche 911, launched the Porsche Design Studio. Among his first signature creations was the Chronograph 1, a special timepiece in a stylish black finish, a most striking design element of its day. Porsche commemorates this innovative design with the unveiling of its classic black Cayman S Porsche Design Edition 1 at the Frankfurt Auto Show in September.

Volvo Cars continues to address the problem of rear-end collisions by introducing Collision Warning with Auto Brake - a refined warning system that makes the car brake by itself if the driver doesn’t act when a rear-end collision with a moving or stationary vehicle is imminent. Honda will be presenting the world debut of an exciting Accord Tourer Concept at the forthcoming 2007 Frankfurt motor show. A press conference will be held on the Honda stand in Hall 5 on the first Press Day, 11th September, between 13.15 and 13.45. Opel presents a range of especially economical and low-emission vehicles at the IAA in Frankfurt (September 13 – 23, 2007). The current models showcase how automotive technology will look in the near future: the Corsa Hybrid concept car uses innovative technology with starter generator and stop/start automatic transmission which contributes to an average consumption of about 3,75 liters of diesel per 100 km (99 g CO2/km). The Vectra Flexpower with a 2.0-liter turbo engine designed for operation with bioethanol/gasoline mix also makes its debut at the IAA.
