The fifth and last customized Scion tC to be displayed at the SEMA Show comes from Shawn Baker. The inspiration behind this tC is that form follows function. Shawn Baker believes that it’s not really about how much you add to a customized car - could he be talking to James Lin ? - it’s about how well you execute the aspect that you choose to customize.

Loving a clean look, Baker decided to turn the paint over to R Miller Autobody who added a beautiful matte black to the exterior. They followed that up with matte black features such as the A-pillars, mirrors, wiper deleted rain tray, smoothed engine bay, and rear duckbill spoiler. A racing solution RS2 Lip Kit - retro-fit and modified for tC2 fitment - was also added to the sleek vehicle. Then there’s the obligatory set of 19" 3-piece forged race SJC wheels.

For the interior, Shawn Baker went with a custom leather interior with baseball glove style rawhide stitching. The rear seat was stripped of its headrests while additional padding was added to the armrests. Up front, the tuner installed a NArdi Classic 360 mm steering wheel and a new Pioneer audio system. Under the hood there is a new turbo system, a new aluminum intercooler, and a racing SS turbo manifold.

You know the old saying where you "save the best for last?" That’s about where we stand with this Scion tC . It may have been the last customized Scion on the list of customized tCs, but its clean look and low key additions were just what we wanted to see.

After Mopar announced its line-up for SEMA Show , Chrysler has also revealed the official detail on the Dodge Challenger SRT8 392 that will also be presented in Las Vegas. it will be offered in two versions: standard and Inaugural Edition, last limited to 1,492 units. It will go on sale at a price of $42,555.

For the exterior Dodge is offering two colors and new full-body stripe combination including Deep Water Blue with standard Stone White stripes or Bright White Clear Coat with standard Viper Blue stripes and 20-inch SRT-exclusive wheels. There will also be "392 HEMI" badges, Mopar quad exhaust tips, a larger front splitter and integrated front fender, a newly modified front fascia chin spoiler and rear decklid spoiler. The interior will offer standard Smooth Pearl White leather-trimmed seats and dual blue stripes accented by unique blue stitching and serialized “Inaugural Edition 392 HEMI” dash plaque.

Under the hood Dodge placed the legendary 392-cubic inch HEMI V8 powertrain with 470 HP and 470 lb.-ft. of torque.

Updated 11/02/2010: Dodge has revealed new images and performance numbers for the Challenger SRT8 392 that made its debut today at the SEMA Show. The muscle car sprints from 0 to 60 mph in the high 4-second range and quarter-mile elapsed time in the high 12s. Top speed has been increased to more than 180 mph with the manual transmission (173 mph in the automatic). Check out the gallery to see all the new images!

UPDATE 04/03/11: Now this comes a surprise, even for us. The Dodge Challenger SRT8 Inaugural Edition, tuned by no other than Geiger Motors, is making its way to Germany. Yeah, the land of exotic and luxury cars will be welcoming some serious American muscle to the Autobahn. There’s no official word yet on how many models of this special edition Challenger will be headed to Germany - there are only 1,492 available models - but if you live in that part of the world, be advised that the car is going to be sold at a price of €55,000, which is about $77,800 based on current exchange rates.

Press release after the jump.

The last customized Lexus model to be revealed at the SEMA Show is an RX 450h by Paul Tolson. Tolson’s take on Lexus ’ most popular luxury hybrid model reveals a kickass widebody conversion kit and some fancy schmancy wheels.

Take one look at the RX450h by Tolson and you will clearly see that this SUV is anything but ordinary. The Hired Gun Paint Werks widebody conversion kit allows the RX 450h to hug the ground in a menacing way that typically doesn’t accompany a family vehicle. Adding to that edge is the Air Runner Integrated suspension system, Rotora RFK Series 6-piston custom color caliper, 355mm x 32 mm 2-piece drilled, and slotted rotors. The exterior is finished off by Leon Hardiritt Vertu wheels in 21x10-inch front with -4 offset and 21x12-inch rear with +9 offset. The interior saw changes made to the materials and stitching courtesy of Garcia’s Auto Interiors and trim and accent pieces were added by Hired Gun Paint Werks.

No engine modifications were made to the hybrid SUV, no surprise there, but the 3.5-liter V6 engine with an output of 295 HP aims to please to begin with so changes weren’t all that necessary.

Lexus is rolling out a whole bunch of hybrids for this year’s SEMA Auto Show and their first luxury hybrid sedan is in the mix with a tuning kit presented by VIP Auto Salon. The Lexus HS 250h
gets a Branew aero styling package, a Huper Optik ceramic-based window film, and Lexus OEM Japan-market window visors.

Other goodies fitted into this luxury hybrid include a Work Gnosis GS4 machined center disk, gloss bronze anodized outer barrel, 20x8.5-inch ET30 A disk front and 20x9.5-inch, ET 35 A disk rear, and a Branew axle back system. As with the LS 600h by VIP , this sedan will also get a custom interior by Vip Auto Salon and Top Stitch, but it will also get exterior and interior premium light packages provided by VLEDS.

Nothing was changed under the hood which shouldn’t be too surprising considering the hybrid engine sitting there, but 187hp should be plenty for the greenies of the world.

The Lexus LS 600h from Fox Marketing won’t be the only version of the luxury sedan attending the SEMA show this year. VIP Auto Salon will also be bringing their version of the 600h, as well as a couple of other models, to wow the hybrid world with their classy tuning.

The LS 600h by VIP may not be the most eye catching of all hybrids, but VIP was able to jazz it up a bit with the use of machined black polish wheels, 21x9-inch ET 33 front and 21x10-inch ET 40 rear, and a Performance Tube Systems Joe Z Series axle back exhaust system. Other modifications include a custom air suspension, WALD Mahora M11c, and Brembo high performance front brake kit with 15-inch disk and 6-piston monoblock calipers. The interior was customized by Vip Auto Salon and Top Stitch, but no real details were given as to what was done.

No changes were made to boost the power of this luxury hybrid sedan, but if Lexus ’ goal was to prove this automobile was already fun to drive then these modifications wouldn’t be necessary. But they could have chosen a different exterior paint job. That custom PPG Hue of Macadamia doesn’t exactly scream thrilling and fun. It was probably a good idea to have two versions of this hybrid on display because we’d take Fox Marketing’s black and red version of the LS 600h before we’d even glance at this one.

Scion marks its return to the 2010 SEMA Show with an exciting selection of custom-built cars. One of the firsts is atC Coupe customized by GReddy. Compared to a standard tC powered by a 2.5-liter inline four-cylinder engine that develops 180 HP, GReddy tuned their model to an impressive 340 HP and 325 lb-ft of peak torque. In order to obtain this impressive output, the tuner is offering a new turbo kit, a front-mounted intercooler, a new exhaust system and of course ECU update.

Next to the engine upgrade, GReddy is also offering coilovers, Five-Axis Aero package, Scion optimized rear wing, a big brake upgrade, new 18" racing wheels painted in silver with an S and A design, and some GReddy graphics. Nothing has been said on what interior changes have been made, but we don’t see any of the Scion tCs getting too much of an interior upgrade this year. We do know, however, that there will be a nice set of Sparco Chrono seats covered in black leather.

Stay tuned as we head to SEMA for more details on this and many other vehicles attending the show!

Scion was pretty busy preparing this year’s SEMA Show. The five customized tC stand as proof of this statement. And the next one featured on our pages comes from Crawford Performance. The tuner made changes for both the exterior and the interior, but they also did some impressive work under the hood.

The exterior package includes an ATI carbon fiber hood, Vinyl Graphics by Spin Imaging, window tint, and a Scion spoiler. There are also Tein Super Racing Coilovers and a TRD big brake kit. The exterior package is finished by 18" Advan RG-D RAcing Wheels with custom paint wrapped in Toyo Tires Proxes R1R Tires 265/35ZR18. Oh, and there’s also the racing livery that is swallowing the car whole. For the interior the tuner is only offering a new Alpine Stereo system.

Under the hood, Crawford added Motul fluids, NGK Spark Plugs, K&N High Flow Air Cleaner, and power by Crawford Performance. No specific numbers were given as to the enhancement of power, but we imagine everything will get a little clearer in the next few days as the SEMA show’s doors open and the cars come flowing out.

One of the many Scion tC coupes to be making an appearance at the 2010 SEMA show is one tuned by James Lin. It seems this tuner took out a book on what tuners could do to a car and then proceeded to do anything and everything imaginable, leaving us with this highly modified and super rad ride.

Starting with the exterior of the vehicle, the tuner added a carbon fiber hood and trunk, custom door handles, and a carbon fiber rear wing. More carbon fiber came in thr shape of an AIT racing carbon fiber front and rear bumper splitter. Splitter rods and front bumper carbon fiber canards by APR were also thrown in for good measure. Then Lin went ahead and shaved off the windshield wipers and door handles because, well, he could. The interior saw a new Sparco Steering Wheel, a Fast R Shift Knob, and the lovely sounds coming out of the new Sony 7-inch Double XNV-770BT audio system.

Under the hood of the Scion there is a new turbo charger, a front mount intercooler, custom chrome manifold and down pipe, carbon fiber dampers, and a DC Sport Air Filter. No specific numbers were given as to the performance of this bad boy, so we’re hoping more specs will be reviewed when the car rolls onto the show floor.

As part of Lexus ’ attempt to prove to the world that hybrids can be cool and fun to drive, they have brought out the second model scheduled to be on display at the 2010 SEMA Show. This model is a customized GS 450h coming to us from 0-60 Magazine.

The stock GS 450h hybrid luxury sport sedan isn’t exactly the most exciting hybrid sedan on the market, but 0-60 Magazine have made significant changes to the exterior and inner workings of the vehicle to allow it to transcend above the boring, environmentally responsible family car. The first step to that is evident in the Custom Carbon 5-piece body kit. This kit includes a new front spoiler, a huge rear wing, side skirts, and plenty of 0-60 logos all over the car’s rear. Inside, the car has been given racing sports seats and a roll cage to complete the look.

The more technical additions given to the car include Brembo Gran Turismo high performance brakes, TEIN USA Super Racing coilovers, and a GReddy Performance custom Titanium Race exhaust system.

So, for those of you who didn’t believe hybrid cars could be cool, take one look at some of the hybrids Lexus is offering, and you might just change your mind.

Next to a bunch of customized Corvettes and Camaros, Chevrolet will also be bringing a modified Silverado 2500 to the SEMA Show. The 2500HD Extended Cab Z71 is equipped with the new 6.6L Duramax turbo-diesel engine with B20 biodiesel capability and mated to an Allison 1000 six-speed automatic transmission.

For the exterior, the 2500 HD Z71 gets switchblade silver color with satin low-gloss finish, a body-color grille, Chevrolet Accessory 20-inch wheels painted Corvette Competition Gray, six-inch oval assist steps painted Corvette Competition Gray, Amber roof lamps, and custom Z71 graphics.

For the interior ,the truck gets Dark Titanium leather interior, Chevrolet Accessory interior trim plate kit with custom show paint, dual DVD headrests with HD WiFi headphones, navigation radio, and Autonet mobile Wi-Fi.

The list of control features includes trailer sway control, integrated trailer brake control, hill start assist, automatic grade braking, intelligent brake assist and larger brakes.
