Nearly every year that it’s been in existence, Chevrolet displayed a special-edition Camaro at the 2013 SEMA Show , and it looks like this year won’t be any exception. Despite the Camaro’s home market ramping up for wintertime, Chevrolet will display the Camaro Spring edition at SEMA.

Based on the 2LT or 2SS trims, the new Camaro Spring Edition is distinguished by a Summit White exterior with Blue Ray stripe and a blue fabric top on convertible models. The model will also feature a body-colored ZL1 spoiler, and a ground-effect package, grille and 21-inch wheels from Chevrolet Accessories. The Spring Edition will borrow a set of HID headlights and LED taillights from the Camaro RS .

For the interior, the concept gains a white trim kit with Blue Ray accents. Also included are blue leather seats and floor mats from Chevrolet Accessories.

Under the hood, the 2LT model will come with its typical 323-horsepower, V-6 engine, and the 2SS version will make use of a 6.2-liter, V-8 engine with an output of 426 horsepower when combined with the six-speed manual transmission or 400 ponies with the six-speed automatic.

Overall, this concept is a nice display of some of the options that Chevrolet Accessories offers its customers. Fortunately, there is nothing over the top, and Chevy chose not to update it with anything that is not available to its customers.

As usual, Chevrolet will be present and accounted for at the 2013 SEMA Show with a rather impressive lineup of high-performance rigs. And what’s the point of a high-performance Chevy display without the 2014 Corvette Stingray taking center stage?

The first of the Stingray concepts we will see in Las Vegas draws inspiration from west-coast culture, and Chevy named it the Corvette Stingray Coupe Pacific Concept.

The concept is based on the Corvette Stingray with the mighty Z51 package, and it features a stunning Torch Red exterior paint combined with a Carbon Flash Metallic paint on its rear spoiler and a Carbon Flash graphics package.

The bright-red body is combined with a carbon-fiber hood, an exposed-weave, carbon-fiber removable roof panel, and a front splitter and rocker extensions in satin black. All of this black and the exposed carbon fiber contrast well against the red body.

Rounding out the aesthetics is a set of satin-black, aluminum wheels with a red accent stripe. This staggered wheels are sized 19-by-8.5 inches up front and 20-by-10 inches out back.

Chevy also updated the interior as updated with its own carbon-fiber trim kit, a set of Competition Sport seats and a flat-bottom steering wheel with a carbon-fiber finish.

The Japanese tuner Liberty Walk Performance will display an awesome tuning kit based on the Ferrari 458 Italia at the 2013 SEMA Show . The kit includes some very aggressive exterior updates, plus new Armytrix titanium exhaust pipes that will completely transform the sound of the prancing horse’s V-8 engine.

The kit includes large front and rear bumpers, a new diffuse and a large rear wing for some extra downforce. All the new elements are made from carbon fiber, so they don’t add too much weight to the supercar .

There are no details just yet if the tuner will do any work under the hood, but the 570 horsepower delivered from factory are just enough for us, though we wouldn’t be against a few extra ponies.

Liberty Walk Performance will display the 458’s body kit will be displayed at the Toyo Tires booth next to a bad-ass Nissan GT-R prepared by the same tuner.

For this year’s SEMA Show , Lexus challenged its fans to design the 2014 IS of their dreams. You can imagine that hundreds of designs rolled in, but only seven of them — the best of the best, of course — will become reality.

One of these seven cars was designed by Paul Tolson and Gabriel Escobedo. Their design is based on an IS 250 equipped with the F-Sport package , and it features a combination of BASF Glasurit Orange Mercury and Galaxy Root Beer paint. The car received an aggressive, all-metal wide-body kit, and the design duo dropped it closer to the ground with an Air Runner Systems air ride.

There is also a new set of Wheel Works USA Emotion CR Kiwami wheels sized 19-by-9.5 inches up front and 19-by-10.5 inches on the rear. Bringing the concept to a halt is a Rotara brake system, featuring six-piston calipers squeezing 355-by-32 mm (13.97-by-1.25-inch) discs on both the front and rear.

Rounding out the mods is a custom exhaust and intake that helps improve the rumble of the 2.5-liter, V-6 engine.

Once the show opens up in Vegas, you can see is in the Outside Central Hall.

Despite getting a lukewarm reception from buyers, the slow-selling Chevrolet Malibu is still putting on a brave face, an important attribute to have given that Chevrolet has resorted to commercials to tug at the heartstrings of prospective customers.

Be that as it may, the Malibu is still going to be an attendee at SEMA with Chevy deciding to gift wrap the midsize sedan into what its now calling the LTZ Concept.

A new front end design is the first thing you’ll notice about the Malibu LTZ Concept. It’s an eye-catching change that makes you wonder why Chevrolet didn’t do this sooner and potentially save itself from the humiliation of little interest from consumers.

In addition to the modified front, the Malibu LTZ also received a slew of modifications, highlighted by a performance upgrade that includes the addition of a concept Stage Kit, cold-air induction system and a Borla exhaust system. Taken together, the Malibu’s 2.0-liter turbocharged engine receives a higher output. No word yet on how much of an increase it is, but considering the standard Malibu has 259 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque on tap, expect figures in excess of 300 across the board with these engine upgrades.

Oh, and there are some styling additions on the Malibu LTZ Concept, including a set of 19-inch wheels from Chevrolet Accessories that are coated in a Sterling Silver finish.
