The Audi S4 is the German automaker’s sport tuned version of their entry level sedan, adding a bit more exhilaration and extravagance to the A4 with a high output power plant and exotic materials used for the interior. For 2010 Audi went away from the 4.2 Liter V8 and opted for a more economical supercharged V6 that makes 333 HP, more then enough to scoot the all wheel drive sport sedan around corners while the Alcantara seat inserts holds the occupants in place. 2010 S4 went on sale in the fall of 2009 and is only available as a four door in the U.S. with the European market receiving an Avant as well.
The 2010 Audi S4 is powered by a 3.0T V6 FSI combining gasoline direct injection with forced induction to deliver a total of 333 HP and 325 lb-ft of torque, when equipped with a manual transmission the 2010 S4 sprints from 0 to 60 MPH in only 4.9 seconds while its top speed is limited to 155 MPH. The S4 is a sports car offering an impressive driving experience, leading technologies, and every day suitability. The luxury sport sedan comes equipped with performance features like: adjustable engine/throttle mapping, suspension damping, rear differential, dynamic steering and Quattro with new optional Sports Rear Differential in order to enhance the performance vehicle’s agility.
The 2010 Audi S4 will be offered in two trim levels: Premium Plus and the S4 Prestige, with prices starting at $45,900 and $52,000 respectively. However you might want to spring for the Audi Drive Select Package priced at $3,950 as well, after all it includes all those adjustable bits that takes the S4’s handling from impressive to outstanding.

Unveiled back in 2008, Audi’s stylish full size luxury sport back A5 has undergone a few mechanical changes for the 2010 model year. However the A5’s styling keeps the classic coupe like proportions that come from the long hood and short rear deck lid combined with a low slung sweeping roof line. The interior of the A5 includes Audi’s three dimensional driver oriented cockpit to make owners feel a bit more sport when behind the wheel. The 2010 Audi A5 will be offered in three trim levels: Premium, Premium Plus and Prestige. The Audi MMI infotainment system, which is now in its third generation, is offered for all A5’s equipped with navigation while the Premium Plus and Prestige models are further distinguished by a set of LED tail lights.
As far as the changes are concerned, the fuel efficient 2.0 TFSI power plant is now available with either a manual or Tiptronic transmission and the German automaker is permanently removing the clutch pedal from all 3.2 FSI powered all wheel drive Quattro models. Either way, the turbocharged four cylinder is good for 211 HP and 258 lb-ft of torque while the larger 3.2 liter V6 produces 265 HP and 243 lb-ft of thrust.

When the German automaker unveiled the Audi TTS in 2008 they wanted to give their sport coupe a more powerful look along with an aggressive design resulting in a TT that would drive like none other. After only two years of being in production, the Audi TTS is entering the 2010 model year better then ever with a 265 HP version of the 2.0 TFSI four cylinder along with a sharper tuned suspension. The TTS will be sold in both coupe and roadster bodies but will only be offered with two trim packages aimed at an upscale market: Premium and Prestige.
The TTS distinguishes itself from lesser models with a distinct front and rear fascia as well as LED driving lights and a set of slick 18 inch wheels. Meanwhile the suspension is upgraded to Audi’s magnetic ride control, a technologically advanced unit that constantly monitors what the vehicle is doing and then adapts the firmness of the suspension to suit anywhere from "Normal" to "Sport" driving needs. The TTS comes standard with the high output version of the direct injected 2.0 Liter making a maximum output of 265 HP and 258 lb-ft of torque.
The additional power and customized Quattro all wheel drive system helps the TTS accelerate from 0 to 60 MPH in only 4.9 seconds, a full second faster than the standard TT. Thanks to Audi’s advanced TFSI technology both the TTS Coupe and Roadster get as much as 29 MPG on the highway. That makes for one very sporty yet economical TT with the coupe starting at $45,900.

When the Audi TT was refreshed back in 2007, the German sport coupe was given a more aggressive exterior with more defined body lines and fastback rear glass. For the 2010 model year Audi has upgraded every member of the TT line to use the Quattro all wheel drive system as well as a few updated touches both inside and out with the Pièce de résistance being a set if Xenon headlamps adorned with two dozen LED driving lights each. The interior of the 2010 TT gets a new ergonomic multifunction steering wheel and hip hugging Alcantara sports seats. Equipped with a 2.0 Liter TFSI four cylinder that cranks out a total of 200 HP and 207 lb-ft of torque, the fixed roof TT will sprint to 60 MPH in only 5.9 seconds while the drop top Roadster is not far behind at 6.2 seconds and they both top out at 130 MPH. Priced at $37,800 for the coupe and $40,800 for the convertible the new 2010 Audi TT is an excellent example of modern day German sports car engineering.

The Japanese automaker Acura has announced pricing for the 2010 ZDX full size four door sports coupe crossover. The ZDX concept is fresh off of the auto show circuit and its almost identical production car version will begin to pop up in showrooms starting on December 15 wearing a price tag that starts around $45,495 for the well equipped ZDX. The navigation including Technology Package will run you $49,995 and an advanced ZDX will run you around $56,045.
The 2010 Acura ZDX is powered by a 3.7 Liter V6 that makes 300 HP and 270 lb-ft of torque thanks to Honda’s proven VTEC variable valve timing system. The new luxury vehicle comes standard with safety features like a blind spot information system, Adaptive Cruise Control, Collision Mitigating Braking System and an active damper system. That is in addition to a few luxurious touches like heated and ventilated front seats wrapped in Perforated Milano Premium Leather as well as an exquisite brushed tricot headliner and a sport steering wheel.
The ZDX’s main competitor, and originator of the Sport Activity Vehicle segment, the BMW X6 starts at $56,300 and can climb as high as $67,050 for the more powerful V8 version. When you look at the numbers, the ZDX makes sense for the value minded customer.
