2009 Infiniti G37 Convertible US prices announced


After announcing the European prices for the Infiniti G37 Convertible, the Japanese luxury automaker has also announced the vehicle’s pricing for the U.S. market. The drop top Infiniti will go on sale June 19, and prices will start from $43,850 for the G37 Convertible and $43,900 for the G37 Convertible Sport with a six speed manyal transmission.

When it is released, the Infiniti G37 Convertible will be powered by 3.7 Liiter V6 engine mated ro either a 7-speed automatic transmission or a responsive close-ratio 6-speed manual transmission making 325 HP.

The next Mercedes Benz E-Class will cost less than you think.


The 2010 Mercedes Benz E-Class sedan not only comes with an updated design and performance. The new Mercedes Benz sedan is also being offered at a new price, and it’s not what you are thinking either. New car, new year, more money. Well no, in fact the base model, the 2009 E350 with V6 power started at $54,075, while the new E350 will be offered for only $49,475; and can be yours, here in North America, starting in June.

2009 BMW Z4 U.S. pricing announced


BMW USA today announced pricing on the 2009 Z4: the base version Z4 sDrive30i has a base price of $46,575, while the sDrive35i starts at $51,650. Of course that’s not the whole story. Anyone who’s ever bought a BMW knows the option list can be long, complicated, and most of all, expensive. So we have the full breakdown after the jump.

Both models are using the same 3.0-liter inline-six cylinder engine. The sDrive30i has 255 hp, and the sDrive35i uses twin-turbos (one turbo designated for three cylinders each) to upgrade to 300 hp. All variants of the new BMW Z4 come as standard with a 6-speed manual gearbox.

2010 Lincoln MKT pricing announced

2010 lincoln mkt pricing announced picture

After revealing the 2010 MKT at the Detroit Auto Show, Lincoln also revealed pricing on the new luxury crossover. Sales will begin this summer at a price of $44,995 for the front-wheel drive model and $49,995 for the all-wheel drive version.

The 2010 Lincoln MKT will be available with a premium, 3.5-liter V-6 EcoBoost powertrain as well, and all EcoBoost models will be fitted with AWD. The direct-injection, twin-turbo, 355 hp engine is expected to deliver not only best-in-class power but also best-in-class highway fuel economy, superior to both the Acura MDX and Audi Q7.

For the customers looking for more luxury Lincoln is also offering the Elite Package. At $5000 this package includes: Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), Collision Warning with Brake Support, Blind Spot Information System, Cross Traffic Alert, Voice-activated Navigation and Power-opening Panoramic Vista Roof.

2009 Audi A6/S6


Audi released the US price on the 2009 A6 sedan, A6 Avant and S6 sedan, which will go on sale starting January 2009. Pricing are as follow: the Audi A6 3.2 sedan Premium will start at $45,100. The Audi A6 3.0T quattro sedan Premium will start at $50,100. The Audi A6 3.0T quattro Avant Premium will start at $53,310. The Audi A6 4.2 quattro sedan will start at $60,950, and the Audi S6 will start at $75,900.

For 2009 the A6 will be offered in three equipment levels – Premium, Premium Plus and Prestige. The 3.0 TFSI V6 engine will deliver 300 hp and a powerful 310 lb.-ft of torque. The 3.2 FSI V6 engine, which produces 255 horsepower and 243 lb.-ft of torque, will be available in the Audi A6 Premium and Premium Plus equipment levels. The 3.2 FSI will be paired with front-wheel drive and multitronic transmission. The Audi A6 4.2 comes fully loaded with a 350-hp 4.2 FSI V8 engine, Tiptronic automatic transmission, quattro all-wheel drive, S-line exterior and the Prestige equipment level as standard.

The 2009 Audi S6 features a 5.2 FSI V10 engine mated to the Audi Tiptronic automatic transmission, which kicks up 435 horsepower at 6,800 rpm and 398 lb.-ft of torque.

2009 Audi TTS Coupe and Roadster


Audi today announced pricing on the 2009 TTS Coupe and Roadster. Sales will begin in late 2008 at a price of $45,500 for the TTS Coupe and $47,500 for the TTS Roadster.

The TTS is powered by a 2.0 TFSI engine that delivers (265 hp @ 6000 rpm and 258 lb.-ft. @2500-5000 rpm. The TTS Coupe races from 0-60 mph in 4.9 seconds, and achieves a combined fuel economy of 24 mpg. The TTS Roadster offers comparable performance with a 0-60 mph time of 5.1 seconds and a class-leading combined fuel economy of 24 mpg. Both version are electronically limited to 155 mph.

2009 Acura MDX pricing announced


Acura today announced pricing for the 2009 MDX luxury SUV. Prices are as follows: MDX, $40,790; MDX with Technology Package, $44,840; MDX with Technology Package and Entertainment Package, $46,590; MDX with Sport Package, $46,940; and MDX with Sport and Entertainment Packages, $48,690.

The 2009 MDX is powered by a 3.7-liter VTEC V-6 engine that delivers a about 300 hp. The 2009 model is currently on sale.

2009 Porsche Cayenne pricing announced


Porsche is pricing the 2009 line of Cayenne SUVs with increases between 2.3 and 4.3 percent above the 2008 models. The base 2009 Cayenne is priced at $45,495, the Cayenne S at $59,400, the Cayenne GTS at $70,900, the Cayenne Turbo at $97,700 and the Cayenne Turbo S at $123,600. On-sale date of the Turbo S is August 8. The increased prices are cause by the weak dollar.

The new Porsche Communication System PCM 3.0, currently introduced in the new-generation 911 sports cars, will also be available in all 2009 Cayenne models. PCM 3.0 features a touchscreen and provides expanded capacities, ease of operation and the latest in-car technologies such as a iPod® port, hard disk drive navigation, the addition of XM NavTraffic to XM radio, Bluetooth® connectivity, USB port and auxiliary jack. PCM 3.0 is standard on the Cayenne Turbo and Turbo S.

As a result of larger disc brakes the MY09 Cayenne Turbo will have standard 19“ Cayenne Design wheels. As a first in the SUV segment, all V8 powered Cayennes will be available with Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes, PCCB, for maximum deceleration and excellent fading resistance.

Regardless of their individual model, Cayenne customers will have even greater choices to personalize their car. The sport seats in Alcantara and the padded steering wheel of the Cayenne GTS are now available for all models as are exterior colors GTS Red, Nordic Gold and a new Macadamia Metallic.



2009 Dodge Durango and Chrysler Aspen HEMI Hybrid pricing announced


Chrysler announced today that it is pricing its full-size 4x4 sport-utility vehicle (SUV) hybrid electric vehicles nearly $8,000 below the competition.

The manufacturer’s suggested retail price (MSRP) for the new 2009 Dodge Durango HEMI Hybrid is $45,340, including $800 for destination. The MSRP for the new 2009 Chrysler Aspen HEMI Hybrid is $45,570, including $800 for destination. Additionally, customers are expected to receive an estimated tax credit of $1,800.

“The new 2009 Chrysler Aspen Hybrid and Dodge Durango Hybrid deliver fuel economy up to 20 miles per gallon—a 40 percent improvement in the city and 25 percent overall—best-in-class cargo room, and are priced nearly $8,000 below the competition,” said Deborah Meyer, Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer – Chrysler LLC. “Offering the unique combination of value, fuel economy, performance and capability, Chrysler’s hybrid vehicles deliver exactly what SUV owners are demanding in today’s marketplace.”

The 2009 Chrysler Aspen and Dodge Durango HEMI Hybrid vehicles are Chrysler’s first entries in the hybrid market.

2009 Infiniti FX50 and FX35 pricing announced


Infiniti today announced pricing on the all-new 2009 Infiniti FX luxury crossover SUV, which goes on sale June 24 at Infiniti retailers in the United States and Canada. The all-new FX is a showcase of Infiniti’s design and technology leadership, offering exceptional levels of power, refinement, versatility and driving exhilaration.

The 2009 Infiniti FX is available in three models: FX50 AWD with a new 390-horsepower 5.0-liter 32-valve DOHC V8 engine Variable Valve Event & Lift (VVEL), and the FX35 AWD and FX35 RWD with a 303-horsepower 24-valve DOHC 3.5- liter V6. Each engine is paired with a new, standard 7-speed automatic transmission featuring Adaptive Shift Control (ASC) and available
solid magnesium paddle shifters.

The MSRP of each model is:

  • $40,950 for the FX35 RWD
  • $42,350 for the FX35 AWD
  • $56,700 for the FX50 AWD
