A few weeks ago, German tuner 9ff unveiled the GTurbo tuning package, but while the most powerful version developed 1,000 HP, 9ff pulled the GTurbo 1200 straight out of a hat during the Essen Motorshow. For those not packing much common sense, that’s a model developing a spectacular 1,200 HP. The GTurbo 1200 is based on a Porsche GT2 model, but is modified to be made lighter. There are a series of carbon fiber elements, along side and rear windows that have been replaced by Macrolon items. There is also a new set of 19" wheels. After 9ff added titanium connecting rods, 9ff cylinder head with bigger valves and ports, 9ff camshafts, and 130mm intercoolers, the twin-turbo engine now develops an impressive 1200 HP and 1100 NM of torque. The car can sprint from 0 to 60 mph in 2.8 seconds and will hit an impressive 248 mph. The whole package is finished by a new titanium exhaust system that has adjustable valves for a quiet, sportier sound. The car is currently available for sale at a price of 219,000 euro (around $285,000). UPDATE 12/13/2010: The monsieur’s over at OptionAuto were given the chance to take the 9ff GTurbo 1200 for a test run – lucky, lucky, lucky – and did they take the hammer down on this bad boy, documenting the whole escapade in a five-part video that you can find after the jump. This is surprising much more was the sprinting of 60mph from 0 in just 2.8 seconds. The costing is also surprising, since they only offer it at $285,000. However, I expect much expensive price regarding this car.
This 9ff GTurbo 1200 is cool, The designs are great and the combination of color is great. The design look cool plus the engine performance is quite impressive. I want to experience driving this car and feel the fun driving!
Nice paint, very customized and eye-catching design. A totally sports car that accountable for developed version of its specs. I like a teaser of the video it feels like I’m racing too.
If I have my salary I will definitely buy one of this vehicle! Imagine IF only I had my salary! The power output of the car is quite impressive.
I don’t like the printed color of the exterior of the vehicle. However, its great to know that they have offer an impressive power output for the car.
I thought it came from Safari! Just kidding. You actually notice it quickly, so stand by and give way.
The performance of this car is so awesome! I think driving around a car that has a 1000 hp is like driving a Bugatti car! If we could remember Bugatti Caliber has around 1200 hp. Hmm. I was wondering who will win if caliber and 9ff will race?
IMO, Porsche was created to be a good sportscar. I really love the performance of this car . And I have to agree on you Luke, that figure is quite impressive maybe that’s the result of trimming down this car.
0 to 60 mph in 2.8 seconds? Wow! that’s impressive. They have trimmed down a bit the 9ff but I’m afraid those big valves would affect the speed of the car. Anyway, I like the modified look of this car its more sportier than before.
