2011 Abarth 695 Tributo Ferrari by Romeo Ferraris

TheAbarth 695 Tributo Ferrari is no doubt the most powerful Fiat 500 in the line-up. It is powered by a 1.4-liter turbocharged T-Jet engine that delivers a total of 180 HP, a significant increase over the 500’s standard 101 HP. But, as usual, there is always someone out there who believes that any car can be improved, and Italian tuner Romeo Ferraris has taken on that challenge with the Abarth 695 Tributo Ferrari.

Romeo Ferraris got their hands on two of the limited edition Tributo Ferraris so they could tinker around with their insides. Starting off with the original project’s 1.4-liter turbocharged T-Jet engine, Romeo Ferraris used new camshafts, a new turbine, oversize injectors, a remapped ECU and a new exhaust system complete with sports catalyst and dual rear exit to get the Tributo Ferrari up to 260 HP. That’s a 80 HP increase over the standard 180 HP.

Abarth had originally left the 500’s power output unchanged, but they did strengthen its suspension and braking system. Sin Sin ce the handling was already there, the tuner just opted for installing a new Brembo brake system to handle the extra juice.

As far as looks are concerned, no aesthetic modifications needed here. The original Fiat 500 used for the project was already Ferrari red before Abarth added performance-enhanced and Ferrari -designed 17-inch alloy wheels, carbon fiber door mirrors, and Xenon headlights. With the car looking that good already, Romeo just had to power it up to get a good response.

The two Abarth 695 Tributo Ferrari models will be offered to the American market, but there are no words just yet on the update’s prices. We’re guessing that, with only two units up for grabs, there will be a lot of disappointed folks out there.

It looks so awesome and fabulous on its sleek body paint. Anyway, I’m impressed with its powerful engine, and I would love to see this in person and I hope that it also had an impressive interior.

Very alluring and sexy significantly reveling on it shiny red scheme. I like how it made unique and civilized looking. Absolutely, a true essence of an aesthetic car.

Its kind of disappointing that they haven’t modify the styling the car into a more modern styling. It seems that they want to restore their heritage.

The boost in the figure performance of the car is kind of impressive! That’s around 80 hp. Well ,its not usual that tuning company can boost the speed performance of the vehicle like that.

Same thing here, I also like compact cars because it is cute and very efficient when we talk about fuel. Fuel nowadays is very expensive so it is a good thing that car manufacturers are making a lot of compact cars today.

Indeed, that’s the best part of having compact cars, since you really need not to worry about gas. But of course, the downside of being a compact car is that they are, well, a small.

I really like the concept of compact cars for I’m so thankful that they are very fuel efficient and i think they are the solution for the crisis in fuel.

The figures are quite amazing even if the platform was copied on Fiat 500. However, i don’t get why there is a growing popularity on small cars even though they are dangerous in the road of US?

Abarth originally is very good car which is made cute by the tuning. Whatever the changes done, for a small car sector, this one is modified to rock by the masters of the trade and the red color suits the best on Ferraris.

I really like how they worked on this one. They made the Abarth look even cooler. And I really like the added performance numbers that they have included.

Ferrari red on a Fiat 500, well that is certainly something good to look at. Good thing that they have also upped the performance to match the looks.

This one actually looks kinda cute. The red color certainly did a lot for this. And they have also ramped up the output of the engine.

They have definitely made this car even cooler. The Abarth 695 is already a good car, but they have ramped up the engine output a lot.

Well now, they have actually increased the output of the 695’s engine by that much. Hope they have also strengthened the body so that it can handle that.

Wew! I don’t like the face of this car, especially the front! Even so,
this car is the most powerful line up of Fiat 500 thought it wasn’t mentioned here the performance of the car. However, it’s a good to know that this car is powered with turbocharged engine.
