Abarth’s->ke2904 got a little surprise up its sleeve and it’s called the 500 Track Experience. The new Track Experience package gives customers a chance to enjoy a unique Abarth 500 that comes with a bevy of nice features offered by the Italian automaker, including sleek paint colors, fancy wheels, and a track day experience in Oulton Park, Donington Park, or Brands Hatch. All those tracks are in the UK->ke176, which is a bummer for folks in America, but great news for our Abarth-loving, friends across the pond!

The car itself is an important celebratory vehicle for Abarth. It’s limited to just 65 units representing the 65 years since Abarth was founded by Italian Carlo Abarth.

For those interested in the Abarth 500 Track Experience, the automaker is selling them at all 29 UK dealers at a price tag of £14,990, which is about $24,700 as of 9/4/2014.

It's not often that a limited-edition vehicle comes with its own track-day pass, so there's a lot of appeal attached to the 500 Track Experience. At the very least, you can buy one and let loose on any of the three tracks available. The track experience alone is worth a nice price bump.

Abarth 500 Track Experience in detail

The Abarth 500 Track Experience distinguishes itself with a Record Grey Metallic paint finish. It's not a fancy color by any stretch of the imagination, but it is effective in adding a sporty and aggressive look to the pocket hatch.

In addition to its unique body color, the 500 Track Experience also has a rear privacy glass; a new set of 17-inch, 10-spoke Diamond Finish alloy wheels; yellow brake calipers; and the aforementioned Abarth Track Experience.

Standard features on this special model include sport seats, a satin steel twin-exhaust system, Abarth's 7-inch TFT instrument panel, and Blue&Me Bluetooth hands-free communication system with steering wheel controls.

There are no engine upgrades to speak of , so this Abarth 500 comes with the standard, 1.4-liter, turbocharged engine that produces 135 horsepower and 206 Nm (152 pound-feet) of torque. This allows the tiny hatchback to hit 62 mph in 7.9 seconds and top out at 127 mph.

There's a lot to like about the Abarth 500 Track Experience. It's just too bad that the car and the track pass won't be coming Stateside. That would've been fun.
