Following the ACS1 Coupe the ACS1 Cabrio based on the Bmw 1-Series Convertible was unveiled today by the German tuning company AC Schnitzer. The new vehicle features heigh-adjustable suspensions, exhaust silencer and allpy wheels available in different sizes. At the interior the silver-carbon insertions ad a plus of sportivity to the car while the aluminium pedals and accesories together with the new gear knobs and velour floor mats complete successfully the tuning kit.

In order to obtain more power AC Schnitzer re-programmed the ECU and the results are as follows: 360 hp for 135i, 240 hp for the 123d and 200 hp for the 120d.

AC Schnitzer revealed a new tuning package for the 2008 BMW 6-Series. The tuning kit is applied for the first time to the diesel version of the 6-Series, the 635d.

The tuning kit includes a rear spoiler with an integrated brake light, new style side skirts, a revised version of AC’s “bunny-tooth” shaped lower air-intake, a new rear skirt, 20-inch alloy rims and a new sports rear silencer with chromed tailpipes.

For the 635d the twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter engine now develops 310 (standard version has an output of 286 hp) hp and a peak torque of 501 lbs-ft. For the 650i the power is increased to 411 hp.

Top Speed is increased by 21 mph, and is now 177 mph.

Whether you’re counting miles per hour, laps in minutes or acceleration from zero to 100 in seconds: the relationship between speed and time is something special, and not just as a mathematical function. Its embodiment in the form of watches and cars follows similar principles, be this technical refinement or a sense of aesthetic design. Perhaps that is why many people who appreciate a high quality watch also have a love of fast cars?

As you might know by now, the AC Schnitzer GP3.10 is the fastest LPG-powered car in the world. And now you can see it in action at Italy’s Nardo high speed track! At the end of the GPS speed measurement on the 13 km long high speed track, which fundamentally is just an enormous circle, the digital instrument display read 318.1 km/h.

Not only in proportions is the new 1-series Coupé a worthy successor to the BMW 2002, but also technically: As in the 70s, the current most powerful standard version is powered by a "charged" engine. Daringly, the overtaking prestige was then enhanced further by the mirror-image Turbo logo on the front spoiler. In the 1-series Coupé, the possibilities are more refined, not least thanks to AC Schnitzer from Aachen.

When beads of perspiration form on the brow of experienced sports car drivers, it’s not necessarily down to a faulty air conditioning system. With the 420 V8-HP of the BMW M3, the ACS3 Sport catapults even its keenest challengers into the rear view mirror. The sporting coupé is ideal for anyone seeking to gain advantage on twisting tracks.

Nardo, the legendary high speed track, has been the setting for so many record attempts. Once a year at the track in Southern Italy, under the supervision of "CONTINENTAL AG" and in collaboration with the editors of "AUTO BILD sportscars", the Creme de la Creme of tuners fight it out – this year on 20th and 21st October 2007.

The 4th generation of the BMW M3 has begun. In our experience, many M3 drivers seek individual solutions for their vehicle while retaining high technical standards. Naturally a complete AC Schnitzer range for the BMW M3 is currently in development.
