TopSpeed Rendering: 2014 Acura NSX Roadster
A few days ago, a group of patent drawings were released of the upcoming Acura NSX Roadster, but those weren’t nearly enough. Based on those drawings, we have come up with our own rendering of the future drop top sports car. As previously reported, the Roadster version will look very much like the car that will be featured in the upcoming Avengers movie, except for the roof. The Roadster model will feature the same aggressive design language as the coupe, with a low windscreen and an aggressively-shaped rear deck lid. Under the hood, it will feature Acura’s innovative Sport Hybrid SH-AWD (Super Handling All Wheel Drive) system that combines a unique 2 Electric Motor Drive Unit with a bilateral torque adjustable control system, allowing the car to instantly generate negative or positive torque to the front wheels during cornering. If built, the new NSX Roadster will be revealed sometime in 2014, a year after the coupe version is scheduled to debut. 2014 Acura NSX Roadster

Video: Honda NSX - Past and Future
Honda brought back the NSX name this year at the Detroit Auto Show with the unveiling of the Acura NSX Concept, but the history of the NSX begun back in 1990 when the first generation was unveiled on the market. Today, the company has unveiled a very cool video that presents a tribute to the NSX - both past and future. The NSX was offered with a choice of two engines: a 3.0 liter V6 with 270 HP and a 3.0 liter V6 with 252 HP and 210 lb.-ft. of torque. With the new generation, Honda promises to impress the masses even more than they did with the first model. Rumors state that the new NSX be a hybrid sports car that combines a 3.5-liter V6 engine with a unique 2 Electric Motor Drive Unit with a bilateral torque adjustable control system. This system allows the car to instantly generate negative or positive torque to the front wheels during cornering. This setup will be just enough to deliver a total of 400 HP. Super Bowl Ad: Acura releases extra outtakes from Jerry Seinfeld’s NSX commercial
Years after Seinfeld went off air, Jerry Seinfeld still has comedic timing intact. That Acura NSX commercial he did for the Super Bowl with Jay Leno was a hoot and a half. Drawing from the overwhelmingly positive reception they received from the ad, Acura has decided to add to the comedy by releasing extra footages from all the "offerings" Jerry made to the first prospective owner of the NSX. Check out all the ads after the jump and watch how he tries to convince the owner to take a munchkin, watch him do sock puppet reprisals of Jersey Gangland, make small talk with the "omelet guy", and even do a painfully awkward, albeit hilarious, stand-up routine during a family dinner. Everything we love about Jerry Seinfeld was on full display in the ad. And knowing how Acura can milk this for everything its worth leading up to the NSX’s release, we’re pretty sure that we haven’t seen the last of Jerry Seinfeld in his quest to own the very first production Acura NSX. Check out the extra ads after the jump! Full story Super Bowl Ad: Jerry Seinfeld comes close to being the first owner of the Acura NSX - until Jay Leno shows up
Whereas other car companies are making do with creative Super Bowl commercials, Honda is doing it with a lot of star power. We’ve seen Matthew Broderick bring his Ferris Bueller role back to life for the Honda CR-V and now, Honda’s sister company, Acura, has upped the ante with Jerry Seinfeld and Jay Leno. Granted, the car being featured in the ad - the new NSX - is being touted as the next great Japanese sports car so it figures that Acura would go all out in promoting the car during the Super Bowl. In the ad, Jerry Seinfeld goes through extreme lengths to convince the one guy that’s going to get the NSX before him to switch places with him. He brings him an alien in a body bag, he does a stand-up routine over a family dinner, and he even brings back the last "supposedly dead" munchkin to life. And just when he thought that he had finally convinced the guy to hand over the number 1 spot, Jay Leno comes from out of nowhere riding a jet pack and promising a flight from New York to LA in just 20 minutes. Tough luck, Jerry Seinfeld. Acura Concept from "The Avengers" costs $9 million
