  The Alfa Romeo 159 was first produced in 2005 as a successor to the Italian automaker’s Alfa Romeo 156. The shapely lines of the 159 were penned by none other than the Italian designer Giugiaro himself and features many of the iconic Alfa Romeo styling cues like a hood that tapers into the front ends pointed grill and stretched headlamps. The Alfa Romeo 159 is available in the standard sedan layout as well as a more practical Sportwagon, either way the 159 is also available with front or all wheel drive and a variety of transmission options including Alfa Romeo’s six speed automatic Q-Tronic and the paddle shifted Selespeed gearbox.

2007 Alfa Romeo 159 TI

TI for Turismo Internazionale, the name that Alfa Romeo once gave only to the most lavishly equipped of its cars. They were derived from standard models but stylistic touches and mechanical changes turned them into thoroughbred sports cars for everyday driving. Alpha-Romeo 159 by Novitec

Novitec unveiled the Alfa Romeo 159 powered by a a 2.4 liter turbo diesel engine that delivers 229 hp (up from 200 hp). The Novitec 159 JTD features 20" rims and Pirelli tires that completes the picture the sport aspect of by Novitec.

Alfa 159 Tourisme Internationale
