The Alfa Romeo 159 was first produced in 2005 as a successor to the Italian automaker’s Alfa Romeo 156. The shapely lines of the 159 were penned by none other than the Italian designer Giugiaro himself and features many of the iconic Alfa Romeo styling cues like a hood that tapers into the front ends pointed grill and stretched headlamps. The Alfa Romeo 159 is available in the standard sedan layout as well as a more practical Sportwagon, either way the 159 is also available with front or all wheel drive and a variety of transmission options including Alfa Romeo’s six speed automatic Q-Tronic and the paddle shifted Selespeed gearbox.
TI for Turismo Internazionale, the name that Alfa Romeo once gave only to the most lavishly equipped of its cars. ALfa Romeo is going to unveil the Alfa Romeo TI pack at the Geneva Motor Show next March. The new model features lowered sports suspension and 19-inch wheels and is belived to be the top of the options range.
