The Alfa Romeo Brera is a stylish compact sports car from the Italian automaker that began life as an Italdesign Giugiaro concept in 2002 and became a Pininfarina penned production car in 2005. Alfa Romeo then came out with a drop top Brera Spider in 2006, the sport compact is available with four, five and six cylinder engine configurations as well as Alfa Romeo’s Q4 all wheel drive. The Brera is also offered as a diesel. The top of the line V6 powered Brera makes 255 HP and 237 lb-ft of torque and can go from 0 to 60 MPH in 7.0 seconds.

The last transformation from the German specialists for Italian cars, Novitec is this Alfa Romeo Brera. As a base model they use the diesel version 2.4 JTD with 200 hp.The modifications are not only visual.So we will find 20 inch rims with Pirelli rubbers measuring 255/30.

Autodelta has unveiled a new engine remap programme for the Alfa Brera, Spider and 159 3.2 V6 Q4 versions, which delivers increased power and torque. Available power is increased by 14 bhp (to 274 bhp), while more importantly torque is increased by 23 lb.ft (32Nm). Acceleration times have also been improved as has optimum top speed. Wheels24 made an online poll in order to choose 2006 "Alternative Car of the Year". At the finish line, the pert Peugeot 207 was named "gayest" car, the buff Audi RS4 strutted in as "straightest" and the scrumptious derriere of the Alfa Romeo Brera kicked butt for the "rear of the year" title.
