  The Alfa Romeo Brera is a stylish compact sports car from the Italian automaker that began life as an Italdesign Giugiaro concept in 2002 and became a Pininfarina penned production car in 2005. Alfa Romeo then came out with a drop top Brera Spider in 2006, the sport compact is available with four, five and six cylinder engine configurations as well as Alfa Romeo’s Q4 all wheel drive. The Brera is also offered as a diesel. The top of the line V6 powered Brera makes 255 HP and 237 lb-ft of torque and can go from 0 to 60 MPH in 7.0 seconds.

Gay and straight cars for 2006


Wheels24 made an online poll in order to choose 2006 "Alternative Car of the Year". At the finish line, the pert Peugeot 207 was named "gayest" car, the buff Audi RS4 strutted in as "straightest" and the scrumptious derriere of the Alfa Romeo Brera kicked butt for the "rear of the year" title.
