Shortly after its official launch, the Alfa Romeo Giulietta has become quite a successful model. And as customers always ask for more the company is offering a new engine in the line-up: a new 2.0 JTDM-2 equipped with the latest generation JTDM-2 MultiJet Common Rail system. This technology, combined with an electronically controlled variable geometry turbocharger delivers a total of 140 HP and a peak torque of 350 NM at just 1750 rpm (with the D.N.A. selector in Dynamic position) and 320 NM at 1500 rpm (in Normal) - giving it the highest torque in its class compared to similarly efficient and powerful engines. Equipped with this engine, the new Giulietta will sprint from 0 to 60 mph in 9 seconds and will be capable of a top speed of 127 mph. The model comes equipped with DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter) and Start&Stop as standard, a close coupled diesel particulate filter and a built-in EGR (Exhaust Gas Recirculation) system that improves control of temperature and gas flow. .

What are you saying Veyron101? The Alfa Romeo Giulietta is a successful one, and this new version is surely be. Knowing that it is a diesel-dependent car will surely emit few CO2 in the air.
Well, I guess this car is less to be consider for I think its kind of slower and I wonder why it was said that its a successful version! BTW, what is the pricing of this car?
Well, it depends on you definition of the word “ beautiful”. And how the hell you are comparing this coupe with the VW Golf. This isn’t a hatch!
I rather choose a regular version of this car. It seems that diesel cars are too slow. @Stig_USA, are you drunk or something? This is not a hatch but a coupe!
@Robertborris, it seems that the latest technology used in the car is useless, since it has a less powerful engine.
This technology is combined with an electronically design controlled variable geometry turbocharge, with its high density creates a high speed and great performance.
The sexiest looking hatch I’ve ever seen from the models of Alfa.
I think its much prettier than a Golf, because of the extra horsepower. I want a two door for this one.
