If you needed more proof of what an amazing car the new Alfa Romeo 4C is, you will get it this weekend when the car serves as the Safety Car at the Silverstone->ke1009 round of the FIM World Superbike Championship.

This will be the second time that British customers have the chance to see the 240-horsepower sports car in action, after its debut at the Goodwood Festival of Speed->ke3879.

While we usually saw the base version in either red or white exterior paint, the new Safety Car features a white exterior paint combined with the red, white and green colors of the Italian flag that will run the length of the body.

This is the seventh year in a row that Alfa Romeo->ke1386 is the proud sponsor of the FIM World Superbike Championship and this year's championship will help it to prepare the 4C->ke3773 for launch in the UK.
