To most of us, the Jaguar F-Type is synonymous with perfection. It has gorgeous bodywork that goes back to the iconic E-Type , powerful V-6 and V-8 engines and a lively attitude on both the road and the track. However, it seems some tuners are brave enough to meddle with Jaguar’s perfect machine, looking to improve its appearance and drivetrains. One of them is Arden, a German tuning company that has been updating Jaguars for the past 40 years. Given its experience with British sports cars , it’s not surprising Arden has chosen to modify Jaguar’s most intricate vehicle yet.

The F-Type gets the full treatment from Arden . The package includes subtle exterior changes, alloy wheels that are bigger than what customers can order from Jaguar , a lowered suspension and upgraded powertrains. All told, the F-Type benefits from the same upgrades available for the roadster. Read on to find out what the Germans have in store for the F-Type and how much it costs to have an F-Type modified in their shop.

The new Land Rover Range Rover was unveiled back in 2012 and since then, it has gained lots of attention from tuners. In fact, if you remember correctly, there has been about one new tuning kit offered each week.

This week, the tuning kit comes from the German tuner Arden and is simply called Spirit. Though Arden left the bits under the hood alone, it did work hard on updating the look of the SUV .

The new AR9 body kit includes a new front apron with two air entrances for improved ventilation. The tuner also installed an exclusive, handmade Arden front grille, a completely redesigned front appearance and new side skirts. For the rear, Arden installed a new apron and new sports silencers.

The car sits on a set of 22-inch wheels painted the same color as the SUV’s exterior. As an option, buyers can also opt for 22-inch monobloc Dakar II rims painted in black/silver matte or silver/grey matte.

When Jaguar unveiled the XKR-S sports coupe, we were more than impressed with its 550 HP V8 engine, but German tuner Arden didn’t agree. They decided it would be much better off with an upgrade package that increased the final output to an even more impressive 645 HP. If memory serves us correctly, this is the first upgrade kit offered for the sports coupe and will probably be one of the few offered.

With a car as sleek and stylish as the XKR-S - it was Playboy’s Car of the Year , after all - there wasn’t much Arden could do to improve on the exterior of the sports car. What they did do was remove the Jaguar logo from the grille, added a new spoiler that slopes a bit down and a new rear spoiler. The Jaguar sits on a new set of sportier wheels as well.

The biggest change, however, was made under the hood where the tuner added an extra 95 HP. The tuner didn’t reveal how they obtained the extra power, but they probably tweaked the ECU and added a new exhaust system at the very least.

The German tuner Arden is already famous for their impressive tuning packages for the Land Rover models. Their latest package is based on the Range Rover LM and is called AR 7 Highlander. The package includes both exterior and interior updates, but also a 50 HP engine updates.

The wide body aerodynamic package includes a completely redesigned front and rear aprons, side skirts, fender flares and hand-made stainless steel grilles. Also, thanks to a new stainless-steel sport exhaust system the engine delivers an extra 50 HP. In order to handle the extra power, the AR7 gets an electronic suspension module in conjunction with the elegant-sporty 22 "Arden Dakar II light alloy wheels. The package also includes a high-performance brake system.

For the interior the tuner is offering a new center console with a mini-bar and the highest quality materials. The bar is equipped with a cooling unit, whose power consumption is so low that that even if the vehicle is stopped a constant temperature is achieved.

As with every other aftermarket tuning company, there are those that specialize in one brand above all others and become synonymous for their work on that particular auto brand.

For Arden , that brand is Jaguar .

As the premier specialists in Jaguar tuning, Arden has released a number of packages especially devoted to the British marquee and has always received great acclaim for their work. Arden has continued that approach after releasing their latest modification kit for one of Jaguar’s new vehicles, the 2010 XJ saloon.

The mod kit, which covers, the exterior, interior, and powertrain of the XJ is yet another testament to the brand’s unique expertise in tuning Jaguars. For this particular time, the aftermarket-tuning firm worked on a discreet styling kit, giving it a rather unique bespoke appearance yet doesn’t do so in an overly exaggerated manner. The company changed the XJ’s front appearance by putting in a stainless steel mesh grille, installing a set of LED fog lights, 21-inch lightweight alloy wheels with a two-tone finish and a multi-spoke design, and, in a fit of nostalgia, brought back the old ‘leaping cat’ emblem that Jaguar dropped from their vehicles a few years ago.

Jaguar unveiled the special edition XKR 75 at the Goodwood Festival of Speed to mark the company’s 75th anniversary. This celebratory model is equipped with a 5.0-liter supercharged engine that delivers 530 HP and 655 Nm of torque, but the German tuner,Arden , is giving Jaguar XKR 75 owners a little more to celebrate about with modification for the model.

Thanks to the alignment and matching of the engine management, a high-performance sport exhaust system with sport catalysts, and a matching silencer for a full bodied V8 sound, the engine now delivers 580 HP and 720 NM of torque. The sprint from 0 to 60 mph is now made in 4.3 (4.4 seconds for standard version) seconds, while top speed goes up to 189 mph (up from a standard 174 mph).
