Black is the color that will always be in fashion. And when you combine Carbon Black with Aston Martin models you get the perfect sports car. To celebrate the enormous success of the DBS and V12 Vantage, the British company has revealed the DBS and V12 Vantage Carbon Black Special Editions, that according to the company will be price approximately 5% over current base prices.  Both models come painted in Carbon Black metallic paint especially formulated with a subtle metallic twist to create a deep rich patina. The exterior look is completed by a bright finished grille and front parking sensors (normally an option). The interior is finished in Obsidian Black leather highlighted with a contrast silver coarse stitch.  There are also lightweight seats formed from Carbon Fibre and Kevlar that help saving 17 kg from the total weight. The Aston Martin 700w Premium Audio System is delivered as standard in the V12 Vantage while the DBS boasts the Bang & Olufsen Beosound DBS audio system as standard. Press release after the jump. Featuring bespoke Carbon Black metallic paint especially formulated with a subtle metallic twist to create a deep rich patina. Each car will undergo 50 man-hours of hand painting followed by stringent quality checks. For the V12 Vantage the iconic Aston Martin side strake has been fashioned from real carbon fibre backed by a black mesh and complimented with gloss black 10 spoke diamond turned alloy wheels. A bright finished grille and front parking sensors (normally an option) complete the exterior detailing.  Lightweight seats formed from Carbon Fibre and Kevlar saving 17 kg over the standard seat also feature together with Piano black facia trim, centre stack and centre console, anodised black tread plates and unique sill plaques build on the carbon theme. The Aston Martin 700w Premium Audio System is delivered as standard in the V12 Vantage while the DBS boasts the Bang & Olufsen Beosound DBS audio system as standard.  They did it again. They have come up with a great elegant and class looking machine. Love the engine it’s fantastic.
 Maybe black is the color of passion but white is the color of the elegance. But I agree that , that car is perfect in every single way.
 this car looks like a car from the game “need for speed: carbon”. What I love about this car, aside from performance and color, are the grills in front of it, which make it look more aggressive.
 A lot of cars are that fanatic on masking their cars by carbon fibre where the advantage is to decrease the weight by 1-2% and to see a luxurious car like Aston Martin DBS and V12 Vantage wearing Carbon Black metallic paint, it’s really a "bomb" and no question how stylish this car is.
 I still hate the hood vents on the V12 vantage. They took what was one of the sexiest cars made in the past 10 years and made it look like the prop crew from the Fast and the Furious prepped it for a mad street drift scene.
 Black means elegance and I think for this coming year, a lot of black cars will be featured on a car show. But this Aston Martin caught my interest and I didn’t expect it to be that good. What’s more interesting is the Audio System where DBS boasts the Bang & Olufsen Beosound DBS audio system.
