2010 Aston Martin V8 Vantage

  Review

The 2010 Aston Martin V8 Vantage will appear in dealer’s showrooms starting in January of 2010 and the English super car maker has just released a few official images of the 2010 car in both coupe and convertible forms. The new Vantage will come complete with a few modifications inspired by the Nurburgring special N400 Vantage.

The 2010 model will get new optional 10 spoke forged 19 inch alloy wheels with a diamond turned and silver finish. The rear of the new Aston receives a set of cleared out tail lamps while up front the 2010 Vantage benefits from a Magnum silver bonnet. On the inside the hand built super car maker is offering a pair of lightweight carbon kevlar racing buckets that shed over 35 pounds from the sports car as well as the optional 1000 Watt Bang & Olufsen in car entertainment system.

Aston Martin will retain the same 420 HP 4.7 Liter V8 engine, with a few mechanical changes being confirmed for the electronically controlled transmission that will lower the hand built sports car’s CO2 emissions from 328 to 315 g/km, and all the way down to 300 g/km for the Speedshift version allowing Aston’s super car owners to sleep a little easier at night knowing that their new cars are a bit greener than before. Stay tuned to Top Speed for more information about the 2010 Aston Martin V8 Vantage.

I love the simplicity of this Vantage, and I have to agree that it looks so luscious on its body paint. Moreover, I think it will be more impressive if it is on a V10 or V12 engine.

It looks more attractive with a red body paint! smiley Anyway, I can say that when it comes into an awesome and perfect packaged on a vehicle, Aston Martin vehicle is one of the best choice!

I simply love this Aston Martin V8 Vantage for having an aesthetic design, and I have to agree that it is already so striking on its sleek body paint and the fact that it was still reliable on the road.

Actually carfan56 I realized the car isn’t getting old, it’s just that we don’t like it, or at least as much as the db9/DBS.

Change for the sake of change is not a good thing. Not on the most beautiful car on the road.

I bought a V8 Vantage and it is the most beautiful car, I am extremely happy! I am glad AM continues to make this model great just like Porsche does, the 911 basically looks the same every year accept minor changes.

The only thing i would prefer them not doing is going for the blank rear lights, It should be red, makes the cars look a lot better!

It looks like a sperm whale with its mouth open sweeping the cool ocean water for food. Need a new design! Getting very old! DATED!

Those taillights and wheels look pretty decent. I love Aston Martin’s lineup though. Truly breathtaking.
