2011 Aston Martin DB9 Quantum Silver

  Review

The last of the three special edition DB9s to be released by Aston Martin is the Quantum Silver Edition, taking after the Carbon Black and the Morning Frost.

Unlike the Morning Frost, which is going to be the most luxed-up version of the three, the Quantum Silver Edition will be similar to the Carbon Black in that it will come with 19” alloy wheels, piano black interiors, black grills, a leather roof lining, and a laser etched sill plaque depicting the famous wings insignia to go with the “Quantum Silver” logo. Then there’s the obvious difference of the silver exterior paint color to distinguish this vehicle from the others.

What the three special edition models do have in common is the same powertrain: a 6.0-liter V12 engine that produces 470 horsepower. Likewise, all three special edition models will be made available in both coupe and Volante models, making the choice that much more difficult.

The Quantum Silver Edition DB9 will come with a price tag of £132,000, or around $200,000 based on current exchange rates. The price tag isn’t peanuts by any stretch of the imagination, but with those Christmas bonuses coming in, you can probably have enough to make your best ever holiday purchase.

Yeah! And I really wonder if why is it too expensive for the fact that it is only looked like their typical model with its same platform and powerful engine. Aside from that I can’t see any special features on it.

I noticed that it is too expensive than with the other Aston Martin vehicles, and I wonder why? Anyway, I’m glad that it also has an impressive and efficient engine which gives me an idea that it is so fun to drive with!

The dashboard of this Quantum is seems very awesome! Well, the engine that this car had is seems so powerful and dangerous for a convertible car, but I’m so impressed on it.

Solid gesture on its silver gray color scheme. Totally exceptional, though it is not the best nor the the most stunning.

Its beautiful except for that steering wheel . I think they should work on that for that high price. Though it look so old and outdated!

Both the DB9 Carbon Black and Quantum Silver also feature the six-speed Touchtronic II automatic transmission, a re-mapped sports exhaust providing an even more evocative sound when driving spiritedly and unique 19” 10 spoke forged gloss black painted diamond-turned wheels.

Aston Martin announced the V8 Vantage N420 limited edition; a race inspired version of the V8 Vantage celebrating the marque’s close links with the famous Nürburgring Nordschleife

The exterior finishes perfectly compliment the Obsidian Black interior along with a highly polished Piano Black center console and interior door handles

Man, I am really loving’ just about everything Aston touches. That DBS Carbon Black is orgasmic.
