2012 Aston Martin Vantage GT4

Over the years, Aston Martin has built and released the Vantage GT4 for competition in European GT4 races. This year, the British automaker is releasing the newest version of the Vantage GT4 , only this time, it’s bound to unleash its fury on American soil for the first time.

It’s an ideal time for the Aston to release the Vantage GT4 in the US, especially after its successful return year to the American LeMans series where it bagged wins with the Aston Martin DBR1-2 prototype in a number of races, including Long Beach, Mosport, Mid-Ohio, Road America, and Laguna Seca.

For the 2012 racing season, the Aston Martin Vantage GT4 will be built and raced by Toronto-based partner Multimatic Motorsports. The car itself will be re-dissected for racing purposes, which means that all of the luxury amenities of the road version will be removed in favor of race-spec equipment. Certain parts will also be added, including a new splitter that increases downforce at the front of the car, as well as a new carbon fiber diffuser, and a redesigned underfloor that creates an area of low pressure under the rear of the car, increasing the car’s overall downforce.

One thing that will remain with the car though is its 4.7-liter V8 engine, which Aston has used ever since it began building the Vantage GT4 back in 2008.

For the 2012 season, Multimatic Motorsports will be fielding two cars, which will be driven by some noted drivers, including Scott Maxwell, Joe Foster, Ston Martin, chief engineer Chris Porritt, and Hollywood actor-slash-racer Patrick Dempsey.

UPDATE 01/25/2012: Aston Martin has announced that the beginning of its Grand-Am campaign will be on Friday, January 27th during the first round of the 2012 Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge (CTSCC) at the Daytona International Speedway. The company will join forces with Toronto-based Multimatic Motorsports to enter a pair of Vantage GT4s in the Grand American Road Racing series. "The first round of the Grand-Am Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge at Daytona will see Aston Martin realize a long-held desire to have the Vantage GT4 competing regularly in North America. Aston Martin Racing has built and sold nearly 100 Vantage GT4s since we raced the first one at the Nürburgring 24 Hour race in 2006, and it’s great to be present at last in such an important market with such a strong and experienced partner as Multimatic."

UPDATE 03/05/12: The Aston Martin Vantage GT4 is headed to the 2012 Geneva Motor Show with plenty of new aerodynamic components in preparation for the 2012 season. The most prominent modification is a new carbon fiber rear wing, a redesigned roll cage, and a reconfigured fuel tank to lower the race car’s center of gravity.

This does not the most appealing car but I still prefer to have this. Well I believe that a true car does not rely on its look but rather to the ability and engine power and how long it will last to a real competition.

This is another impressive car model made by Aston Martin. I like the way they put up stickers on this model making it more appealing on the racing competition.

It appears so plain to me. Maybe because of its white platform. I prefer an exciting design when it comes to racing cars. I guess they should try to redesign it. Anyway, I’m truly impressed with its engine.

This is a future racing car for this year. I figure out that this concept is very appealing and cool on its design. As of now, I’m not sure when this will be launched. I assure you that it will be of great success.

Is this Aston new in the car industry? It is my first time to see these concept of them. I find it more interesting on the exterior looks.

The Aston GT4 contains ordinary concepts of a car. The engine was the only good in this car—the V8 engine.

The bumper is very plain. The headlight is OK. In totality of the car, it’s fine, but it needs more upgrades.

This Aston Martin will be burnin’ up the race track. It gone through changes that will fit to the racing standard of the raving event. This sophisticated move will lead some future events and I’m looking forward on that.

I love the aesthetic looks of this Aston Martin specially that black lining on its hood. I am really in-love on its exterior sophisticated looks. I am hoping to have this in the future.

aston martin the newest version of the Vantage GT4, only this time, it’s bound to unleash its fury on American soil for the first time. this a car we can use for competition for som nay times aston martin have a up graded of engine this car engine container 4.7liter v8 engine but also if you can see designer a car was creatively like fashion design underfloor in area of low pressure with increasing the car overall down force.

The color combination of this car is really fascinating. Looks impressive for me with matching text styles on the side. The engine specification is outstanding which is V8, though it is the usual engine. I’m pretty sure that this one will gonna rule the road.

As what I have saw on this car, the front design is really stunning like the headlights, the front hood, and the front bumper. The design is so impressive for me and it feels like it is so unique. What an awesome-looking supercar.

Aston Martin vantage GT4 looks plain to me though it has that design or stickers. But I am sure that it will rock the track with the engine specs of it. How much do you think will be its production price?

Aston Martin is really great for having a sports car like this, with the same V8 engine that is quite remarkable for them. Anyway, I am thinking that the ride of those good drivers is gonna be a total fun.

Wow. Its engine specification is really outstanding which is a V8, though it is the usual engine Aston Martin have been using. Anyway, I love the exterior design of it. It is not simple and not too overdressed as well.

I can’t wait for this Aston Martin to be released. With its V8 engine, I am sure that this one is gonna rule the streets. I love how it looks on that photo, it really rocks out there!

Since my favorite colors are black and white, this car is so fascinating to my eyes. Plus points are its quality of speed and engine, which make it more exciting to whoever wants to ride on it.

well, it is a great start of the year for car industry. I can’t wait to see this to one of the movies this year.

The body paint doesn’t fit the model itself. It looks not so luxurious. Not too impressive for me. It looks like an old model just like a pajero.

Its definitely a great car to race! I find it impressive. Im looking forward to see this Aston Martin Vantage GT4 on the market.
