As a birthday gift to itself, Aston Martin->ke13 has decided to announce a "Centenary" edition for its whole lineup to commemorate 100 years of pleasing our roads with their presence.

The flagship Aston Martin Vanquish will be the first car to receive the bespoke treatment.

Don't expect any performance upgrades, so we assume it will carry the base 6.0-liter V-12 that pumps out 565 horsepower at 6,750 rpm and 457 pound-feet of torque at 5,500 rpm. No too bad even without any upgrades.

Starting with the exterior, the Vanquish Centenary Edition features a unique palette of paint jobs that aren't offered in the standard trim and solid-sterling-silver Aston Martin wing badges with custom enamel. So, you had better be careful where you park your bespoke Aston, as the badge alone is worth a fortune...

The interior also receives a bespoke treatment, starting with the Deep Soft black leather – a leather upholstery reserved for the One-77 hypercar – with contrasting silver stitching, a special silver thread embroidery of the Aston Martin wings in the head restraints and solid silver sill plaques with the Aston Martin logo.

As a thank-you-for-celebrating-with-us, people who have booked for Centenary Edition will receive a free gift package that includes two glass keys, two bespoke key pouches made from the same interior leather, solid silver cufflinks featuring the Aston Martin logo, solid silver Rollerball pen and high quality Bang & Olufsen headphones. Oh, you didn't have to, Aston Martin...

Aston Martin hasn't revealed the premium customers have to pay for the Centenary Edition. We just hope it's not a steep price to pay for a custom paint-job that hardly matters and a box full of unnecessary goodies.
