The Audi S5 is the German luxury automaker's factory tuned version of their sleek two door fast back and features distinct bold bodywork, boxed fenders, 19 inch wheels and a 4.2 Liter FSI V8 making 349 HP and 325 lb-ft of torque when it was introduced in 2008. Future S5 luxury sports cars will be powered by a 3.0 Liter supercharged V6 making a more efficient 333 HP, competing head to head with the BMW M3.
Audi today announced pricing for the all-new 2008 A5 and S5 coupes. A5 models with a six-speed manual transmission will start at $39,900 and S5 models with a six-speed manual start at $50,500. From now on, the Audi A5 and S5, the new powerful and elegant coupes, can even be made more dynamic by H&R’s attractive suspension packages. The H&R spring kit not only further enhances the sporty look, but the lowering by 35 millimeters also results in improved driving dynamics. A spring kit is available for the S-line packages as well. Here, the ground clearance is reduced by about 25 millimeters as compared to the standard model.

As we reported earlier Audi is about to add three new RS model to its line-up: TT RS, RS6 and RS5. Now, Car magazine caught the RS5 on testing. The RS5 will be a big competitor for the BMW M3.
