The Audi S5 is the German luxury automaker’s factory tuned version of their sleek two door fast back and features distinct bold bodywork, boxed fenders, 19 inch wheels and a 4.2 Liter FSI V8 making 349 HP and 325 lb-ft of torque when it was introduced in 2008. Future S5 luxury sports cars will be powered by a 3.0 Liter supercharged V6 making a more efficient 333 HP, competing head to head with the BMW M3.
From now on, the Audi A5 and S5, the new powerful and elegant coupes, can even be made more dynamic by H&R’s attractive suspension packages. The H&R spring kit not only further enhances the sporty look, but the lowering by 35 millimeters also results in improved driving dynamics. A spring kit is available for the S-line packages as well. Here, the ground clearance is reduced by about 25 millimeters as compared to the standard model.

Here’s a video review of the Audi S5, one of the most fun to drive car on the market at the moment. The Audi S5 is a unique competitor among high-performance coupés, thanks to its combination of V8 FSI technology and quattro permanent four-wheel drive.
The eight-cylinder engine has a rated power output of 354 bhp. Its peak torque is 440 Nm, which it already delivers at 3,500 rpm. Within just 5.1 seconds the Audi S5 can sprint to 100 km/h.

Audi will unveil the sporty version of the S5, sometime next year. The RS5 will be only one of the three RS models that Audi will unveil in the next years (next to TT RS and RS6). The RS5 will be the main competitor for the BMW M3 and Mercedes C63 AMG.

As we reported earlier Audi is about to add three new RS model to its line-up: TT RS, RS6 and RS5. Now, Car magazine caught the RS5 on testing. The RS5 will be a big competitor for the BMW M3.

After yesterday wolrd debut of the A5 and S5, Audi today announced pricing for its latest coupes. It will start at £30,175 for the base 2.7 TDI, and top out at £40,025 for the 4.2-litre V8 powered S5.
The A5 will be the main competitor of the BMW 3-Series Coupe. So if you want to compete with a neighbour with a 3-Series, you can order your A5 or S5 starting this week and first deliveries of both A5 and S5 are expected in late (...)

Here are the first pictures with the new Audi S5 caught like an every day car on an every day place parked alongside the road. The first impression was that it looks better then I first thought. It has smother shapes and more muscular forms. It certain did not resemble with the BMW 3-series coupe, that’s for shore.
