The Audi A1 is a non-performance car, there’s no doubt about that. With an output ranging from 86 HP to 122 HP, it’s more like an every-day use car than a sports car. But with the right updates, the A1 can be easily improved. HS Motorsport is preparing an engine update that raises the output with 25 HP. For that, the tuner has installed an additional module that generates and extra 25 HP and 50 NM of torques, but also an Alpine sound system with navigation unit and a snappy Brembo braking system. For the exterior there is a modified bumper, which appropriately houses the R32-look tailpipes, a full-throated sporty rumble and 18" ASA GT2 alloy wheels with seven double spokes. The package also includes a coilover suspension system that lowers the car’s ride by 55 mm at the front and 60 mm at the back. The interior gets two Recaro Sportster CS lightweight bucket seats in carbon. Press release after the jump. Press release In cooperation with Autohaus Kempen (Meckenheim) and other partners, HS Motorsport has built a spectacular project car based on the highly popular Audi A1. Go-Kart with glamourous wheelsThe running gear, from the house of H&R, is also a new development. The team from Lennestädt have made a coilover suspension system for the small Ingolstadt manufacturer’s project vehicle, lowered to 55 mm at the front and 60 mm at the back. This upgrade gives the already snappy A1 a genuine go-kart feeling! Sit more comfortablyHS Motorsport has placed two Recaro Sportster CS lightweight bucket seats inside the A1, in carbon and original A1 upholstery, from Recaro Sportline Center Germany. The seat consoles have been manufactured especially for the A1 project by Weinkarth. 1 comments: Audi A1 by HS Motorsport
