2011 - 2013 Audi A6 Avant by Senner Tuning

The Audi A6 Avant isn’t necessarily the most awesome model that the German automaker offers, but it is one of just a handful of luxury wagons available on the market. However, when Audi introduced the new 3.0 Biturbo engine with 313 horsepower and 479 pound-feet of torque, which affords it a 5.3-second 0-to-100 km/h (62 mph) sprint and a 155 mph top speed, we couldn’t help but take notice.

Apparently, Senner Tuning took notice too, as it just introduced a tuning package for the A6 Avant 3.0 TDI Biturbo that takes the A6 Avant to a new level. The tuner installed its Stage 2 tuning kit for the 3.0 TDI Biturbo engine, a sport air filter and a power convertor for the drive-by-wire system to help boost its output to 374 horsepower and 572 pound-feet of torque. Though Senner did not disclose the performance numbers of this retuned A6 Avant, we estimate it at 5 seconds to 100 km/h (62 mph) and a top speed of 180 mph.

With this boost in power, Senner also chose to increase its adhesion to the road. It started off by installing a KW Street Comfort coil-over kit that drops the A6’s ride height by 30 to 55 mm (1.18 to 2.16 inches). Senner also gives buyers the choice of two 9.5-by-20-inch wheels — Varianza T1S or Sword SC1 — with high-gloss black on the faces and high-gloss anodized beads. The rims are wrapped in 255/35R20 Vredestein Ultrac Sessanta rubber.

Other than the custom wheels and the lowering kit, the A6 ’s exterior remains unchanged, making this the perfect sleeper kit for any owner.

The Audi A6 debuted in 1994 as the replacement — technically, badge engineering — to the Audi 100. In 1997, the second-gen A6 debuted with a slightly revised body and sat atop the new Volkswagen Volkswagen Group C5 platform. In 2004, the third-generation A6 debuted with a longer, more aerodynamic body and a new base 2.0-liter engine with 168 horsepower. Finally, in 2011, the fourth-gen A6 debuted with a completely different body, headlights, taillights, grille, platform and engine lineup.

The fourth-gen A6 Avant, in particular, had eight engine options in total. The gasoline-powered engines include a 2.0 TSFI with 180 horsepower, a 2.8 FSI with 204 horsepower, and a 3.0 TSFI with 310 horsepower . The diesel lineup included a 2.0 TDI with 177 horsepower and four 3.0 TDI engines with power ranging from 204 horsepower to 313 horsepower.

Pretty oil burner!

With its 313 horse power and the terrific torque of 650 Nm, Audi A6 3.0l TDi is definitely the absolute dream of every representative or family man.

The specialists of Senner Tuning from Ingelheim close to Mainz endowed the fancy oil burner from Ingolstadt with a comprehensive tuning program for even more driving pleasure. The performance capacity of the 3.0 TDI engine is hiked to 374 Horse power through power boosting of the type Stage 2, with the maximum torque also rising along, to 776 Nm. To transmit this power to the road surface on a constant basis without any significant loss of drive, Senner Tuning constructed a classical KW Street Comfort coil-over kit with a lowering section between 30 and 55 mm.

The Tuners from Ingelheim have two work rims in their official program as adequate wheel/tyre combination. The choice can be made between the Varianza T1S wheel or the Sword SC1. Both are black front-polished rims and have external beds that are anodised to high-gloss. The two-part wheels rotate in the wheel-houses of Audi A6 Avant in the format 9.5x20 with Vredestein Ultrac Sessanta tyres in 255/35 R20. The tuning program is completed by a sport air filter, a power converter for the electronic gas pedal and an adapted auxiliary heating system from Ebersp├Ącher of the type Hydronic II with iPhone control system.
