The Top Marques Monaco isn’t just for luxury and super car automakers to display their newest creations; no, this event gets its fair share of tuning projects too. One project blindingly taking center stage in Monaco is this Audi R8 V10 by MTM. The German tuner took special care to prepare this sports car, S.W.A.T. style. The Audi R8 V10 S.W.A.T Edition by MTM is based on the firm’s latest Biturbo version of the R8 that features a 5.0L V10 engine delivering an impressive 777 hp. This is just enough power to sprint the MTM R8 from 0 to 60 mph in 3.0 seconds, from 0 to 124 in 9.37 seconds, and allow it to hit a top speed of 217 mph. This special Audi R8 V10 S.W.A.T Edition features a 100% chrome wrap combined with a S.W.A.T theme. Considering S.W.A.T stands for Special Weapons and Tactics, we’re thinking the Audi could be the team’s special weapon. Of course, it would be impractical to drive this thing to any emergency situation, but maybe it can be a gift for agent of the year or something along those lines. Either way, it is a shining example of what a tuner can accomplish when wanting a vehicle to stand out amongst the more grandoise vehicles at the Top Marques Monaco. .

This engine delivers an impressive a special future itself. But its not usual to use for any emergency purposes.
That’s why I am not really fond of all of these weirdly named theme cars. They always leave you scratching your head as to why they are named as such.
We were hoping Top Marques would unveil those Audi Executive Armchairs in Monaco. BrandedAlive would be proud.
@Xanthias, I think it’s for sale. The SWAT emblems are just there for the overall theme. And they would probably allowed you to customized it with your own theme.
If they could attain the horsepower and the sprint of this car I find it quite impressive! I bet this would be much awaited during the Top Marques Monaco.
Well, in that case, this one would also be a bad gift to an outstanding SWAT officer. You will only be letting the crooks know who your best man is if they see him driving this baby.
And if they are indeed going to do a real SWAT car, it probably won’t be as flashy as this one. If it were, the crooks would easily spot this one a mile away and that large SWAT logo will easily give it away.
Well, if they would be doing a real SWAT car, they would probably keep it under wraps and not show it in any car show. After all, that one would really be strictly for authorities’ use.
