Since its official launch, the Audi Q5->ke1666has had its fair share of success, and for some very good reasons: it's about $10k cheaper than its bigger brother -- the Q7->ke1083 -- it's compact size make it perfect for today's crowded cities, and, as any other Audi ->ke14 model it looks great and delivers lots of luxury feature.

This successful recipe also makes the Q5 a hit among tuners and design firms. Kahn Design, for example, has developed quite an impressive amount of kits for it, and just like with every other one, this latest kit focuses on updating the look of the SUV.

For this, Kahn started by painting the car in a very cool brilliant black and installed a new aerodynamic kit complements its sleek lines. The kit includes a new front bumper, front and rear wheel arches, rear hatch blend, stainless-steel door-sill plates, and a new rear diffuser. The designer also installed a new quad exhaust system in stainless steel.

Audi Q5 Brilliant Black by Kahn Design in detail

The car rides on 22-inch, RS-600 wheels offered in matte black -- this color suits the Q5's exterior brilliant black body perfectly. Lowered sports suspension springs bring the model closer to the ground to help increase its handling abilities and to make it look a little meaner.. The brake calipers are painted red to help them contrast the rims and body.

A series of updates were also made on the inside where the designer added front and rear seats in Kahn’s distinctive quilted and perforated leather, vented foot pedals in machined aluminum and a rev counter facia in red.
