Last year, Audi unveiled the Q1 Quattro, but that model was never offered in the U.S. market and it was limited to only 333 units. Needless to say, not many people had the chance to enjoy it. Now Audi is developing a new pocket-rocket version of the A1 super-mini and we have the first spy shots of the next S1 Sportback. The future Audi S1 will feature the usual quad-exit exhaust pipes, but will come with a milder and less-extreme body kit to fulfill the demands of its customers. Under the hood, Audi will place an updated version of the current 2.0-liter TFSI engine that will deliver about 220 to 240 horsepower. The power will be sent to all four wheels via Audi’s Quattro system. The model is expected to be unveiled in 2013 and will be offered in both 3-door hatch and 5-door Sportback versions. .

i love the fact that they will have the car in both 3 and 5 doors versions! good guy audi covers it all!
there are some alternatives, but i don’t think they can match this one. there would be the Abarth 500 (tuned Fiat 500), the tuned Corsa, the Polo GTI, the Renault Twingo RS. quite some cars, if i think about it!
this is what i hope for too. if not, i might take a trip to Europe. and i might bring this little jewel back with me!
me neither. but who knows? maybe they’ll have more of these made and they will ship some over to the States!
