The Audi A7 Sportback was unveiled in 2010 and since then, it hasn’t really been picked up by many tuners. In the cases where a tuning company - like MTM and Senner Tuning - has taken a chance at the A7, the power upgrades for the model haven’t exactly been as breathtaking as the recent package conceived by B&B.
The B&B tuning package is based on the 3.0-liter V6 TFSI version of the Audi A7 and includes three different engine stages. In Stage One, the V6 engine is tuned to deliver 380 HP and361 lb-ft of torque, while Stage Two takes the standard 296 HP and 325 lb-ft of torque up to 402 HP and 383 lb-ft of torque. Anyone wanting to pack a bigger punch can opt for Stage Three which includes a high-flow air filter, an optimized intercooler, and a sport exhaust system that will increase the engine power to 419 HP and 398 lb-ft of torque.
With the Audi A7’s new-found power, B&B probably didn’t feel the need to jazz up the exterior or interior. The only additions they made, aside from the engine upgrades, are front fender vents, a lowered suspension, and a new set of 19" to 21" inch alloy wheels.
The 2012 Audi RS3 Sportback might look the part of a ’ho-hum’ car on the outside, but rest assured, it’s got some serious horses lurking waiting to be bumped up by the right tuning house. Fortunately, German tuner B&B is up to the task, offering not one, not two, not even three, but four stages of performance upgrades for the RS3.
The first Stage upgrade takes the RS3’s 2.5-liter turbocharged, five-cylinder engine’s standard output of 340 horsepower and 332 lb/ft of torque up to 410 horsepower and 413 lb/ft of torque. Not content with that? Well, B&B has the Stage 2 upgrade for you, further bumping up the output to 425 horsepower and 428 lb/ft of torque. Then there’s the Stage 3 upgrade that boosts up the output further, hitting 450 horsepower and 442 lb/ft of torque.
You would think that those upgrades are already enough, but B&B is far from finished. For the price of €15,950 - that’s about $23,000 based on current exchange rates - the German tuner will provide a larger turbocharger and a high-performance stainless-steel exhaust system that brings the RS3’s total output to a mighty impressive 510 horsepower and 501 lb/ft of torque. With this upgrade, the RS3 can now hit north-to-60 in just 3.5 seconds with a top speed of 193 mph.
Other goodies that are part of this whole set-up, include a new two-mode sport suspension, a high performance brake system, and a choice between 19" or 20" wheels. Let’s all be real though; the meat and bones of what B&B is offering centers on the performance improvements done on the Audi RS3.
Not so ’ho-hum’ now, is it?
24 March 2009: B&B unveiled the first tuning package for the Volkswagen Scirocco that updated the engine’s power to 350 HP. Today, exactly a year after the tuner raised the maximum power with another 12 hp.
The new tuning package is available in three power stages: 310, 324 and 362 hp, depending on customer’s wishes. Depending on the stage the Scirocco uses: an upgraded turbocharger, a high performance cooling system, a sport exhaust system with high performance sports catalysts and an ECU upgrade. The 362 hp version makes the0 to 60 mph sprint in 4.9 seconds while top speed is raised to 175 mph.
The car’s ride has been lowered by 30mm and new 19 or 20" wheels in double spoke design are also offered.
After ABT unveiled its customized Audi RS6 Avant with 700 hp and 590 ft lbs of torque, its main rival, B&B unveiled its new tuning kit for the German car. The new program from B&B has 4 versions of boost for the V10 TFSI engine, developing 650, 670, 700 and 715 hp. With the 4th level installed, the car can hit 60 mph in just 3.6 seconds, with 0.3 seconds faster than the ABT RS6 Avant, and has a top speed of 200 mph.
Also, a new a new suspension kit was added in order to obtain a better stability. No words about the price yet. Also check Audi RS6 Avant by ABT.
B&B, the tuner specialized in Audi vehicles, unveiled its latest masterpiece: the 362 hp Audi TTS. In order to reach that amount of power, the tuning company offers 3 different levels of power: the first level offers 306 hp, second offers 324 hp while the 3rd is most important one offering 362 hp. With the 3rd level installed, the car is capable to sprint from 0-100 km/h in just 4.6 seconds while the top speed is limited to 280 km/h (173 mph)!
If you’re wondering how did the tuner obtain these kind of performances, you have to know that a special turbo loader was installed, together with a new sport exhaust system and high performance sports catalyst but also with the help of some ECU tweaking. In order to keep the oil temperature at a constant temperature, B&B offers a special oil cooling system, which meets the tuned engine’s requirements perfectly.
