The Bentley Brooklands is a $150,000 full size luxury sedan introduced in 1992 as a replacement for the Bentley Mulsanne and Bentley Eight models. It served as a more affordable alternative to the Bentley Turbo R and was powered by a Rolls Royce 6.75 Liter V8 making 300 HP. The model was later replaced by the Bentley Arnage in 1998.

Bentley decided to revive the model in 2008 and it now features the Azure’s 6.8L twin turbo V8. The engine now produces 530hp and 774lb-ft of torque. Getting from 0-60mph is done in just 5.0 seconds with a top speed of 184mph.

Bentley Brooklands a real succes: half allready sold out


Bentley Brooklands made its North American debut at New York Auto Show. And just four weeks after the luxury Coupe was first unveiled to the public, more than half of the first year’s production of about 140 cars are now reserved. Brooklands will be limited to only 550 units. Production will start in 2008 and will be entirely hand-built. The car will be priced at more than $400,000.
