2014 Bentley Continental Flying Spur V8

In keeping up to speed with the Bentley Continental GT and GTC models, the future Continental Flying Spur will also be offered in both W12 and V8 versions. Just the other day, we were able to capture the first spy shots of the W12 version, and now it’s time to take a look at the V8-powered model.

These new spy shots lead us to believe this is the Continental Flying Spur V8 because the grey prototype is equipped with a different set of exhaust pipes, similar to the ones we have seen on the GT and GTC V8 models . Those exhaust pipes should lead us to the same 4.0 liter, twin turbocharged V8 engine as in the coupe and convertible models. This engine will deliver a total of 500 HP at 6000 rpm and 487 lb-ft of torque available between 1700 to 5000 rpm. We expect the sedan version to be a bit slower than the coupe, so the 0 to 60 mph will be made in about 5 seconds, while top speed will be below 180 mph.

Expect to see the new Bentley Continental Flying Spur V8 launched sometime in 2013.

most beautiful bently in a long time, just saw there commercial on youtube! Epic:

I’ve found their specifications similar to the available sedan on the market. So expect that this Flying Spur will be on a slight tight competition.

It’s interesting for me, and I like its modernity on the features and comfort.

If they can improve the appearance into more sportier and elegant, they can also make an enhancement on the platform and the engine they will be equipped on it.

Bentley keeps on the expansion of their lineup, and this Flying Spur is a good start on them. I hope that they are able to focus on the enhancement of their powertrain and drivetrain.

Of course, Bentley will never waste the opportunity showcasing the glamor and capability of its cars!

It’s very well developed now that they applied modifications on this Flying Spur.

Yeah, it’s definitely all about the power as its style still remains insipid to me. Ah, its additional features are worthy of praises for being actually functional at the same time.

It seems that the new continental will have more modifications on its exterior. It’s now enhanced engine performance will deliver a 500HP and 487 torque. It’s sprinting time is only at a good phase of five seconds.
