Germany ’s largest car magazine AutoBild , along with its 23 sister publications in Europeand a jury of leading car specialists have given the prized “Auto 1 of Europe” award to the Ford S-MAX.
In addition to this overall victory, the dynamic crossover S-MAX with its unmistakable “kinetic design” styling also took the individual trophy for the minivan category in the Auto 1 awards.

A Bentley Continental GT, driven by four-times World Rally Champion Juha Kankkunen, smashed the world ice speed record last week, reaching an average speed of 199.86mph (321.65km/h) on frozen sea off the coast of Finland.

The American Council for an Energy Efficient Economy (ACEEE) recognized the 2007
Hyundai Accent and Elantra as two of the top 12 “Greenest Vehicles of 2007.” In addition, the 2007 Hyundai Sonata was named in the “Greener Choices for 2007” list that features widely available gasoline-powered cars and light trucks with automatic transmissions.
