A while back we came across a V10 powered M3 avant in the German classifieds. You may know that the Manhart Racing M3 TV10 was on its way out in order to make room for the latest Frankenstein creation from the open heart surgeons at Manhart Racing. The M3 TV10 was a very desirable car to say the least, with its blend of power and function that only an Audi could match. However there was one problem with the V10 powered estate, it didn’t have a sequential manual gearbox. So it was only practical that Günter decided to go with an SMG version of the ever popular V10 engine transplant in an M3 so that he can start chasing Porsches, because after Audi, what’s next?
Like all of the rides that leave Günter Manhart’s shop in Geilenkirchen, this E92 looks like it could have come from the factory in Regensburg where the cars are made some 600 kilometers away, except that BMW would never use this mach carbon fiber. On the outside Manhart Racing has added new front and rear spoilers as well as a rear diffuser, Bilstein coilover suspension and 20 inch BBS "Challenge R" wheels.
As usual the guys from Manhart Racing took a 5.0 Liter V10 engine from an everyday BMW M5 and squeezed it under the hood of an M3. This gives the tuners a 550 HP baseline from which they can tune the 3,400 pound sports coupe. As it comes from the tuner, the Mannhart M3 V10 can accelerate from 0 to 60 MPH in only 3.9 seconds and reach an impressive top speed of 208 MPH.

The Internet has become such a large market place for automobile sales that even General Motors has signed up to sell their new products on the mega online auction house, e-Bay. With the ability to reach customers thousands of miles away for one low price it is no surprise that even more second hand specialized vehicles are making their way onto the information superhighway with a for sale sign in the back window. So we were delighted to come across this modified M3 on “Germany’s biggest vehicle marketplace online,” mobile.de.
It is not very often that you see a modified avant, the dirty stigma associated with function vehicles went the way of the SUV a long time ago and yes, that is a full size squared off window frame above the BMW’s rear wheels. However that is just the tip of the iceberg, because aside from the radical deep dished RAD Forged wheels and massive Stoptech brakes there lies the heart of a beast inside because this is no ordinary tuner wagon, this is the Manhart Racing E91 BMW M3 TV10. Günter Manhart is a man who prides himself on going above and beyond the extraordinary to create something truly special and that is why everything from the suede headliner and carbon fiber trim, to the 5.0 Liter V10 under the hood it all looks like it could have come that way from the factory.
Now at about $168,500 the TV10 is no bargain, but considering that you will be able to go from 0 to 60 MPH in about 4.3 seconds on the way to your kid’s soccer tournament or hitting 207.5 MPH on the Autobahn when you take delivery might be worth it. Besides if you are that much of a BMW fanatic, a very clean M5 engine swap would something to brag about to your friends and it is a much more practical package than an M5 wagon.

The aftermarket parts group Vorsteiner have just come up with a few high tech pieces that compliment the E92 BMW M3 coupe’s carbon fiber roof. The new customization program consists of an all new limited edition GTS3 front bumper made with Vacuum Bagging Carbon Fiber Construction for its lightweight nature and very exotic nature. The unit has a much larger center opening with a lip that rides closer to the ground and redesigned side ducting eyebrows to channel the incoming air. This allows more of a dense charge to enter and pass through the radiator and into the air intakes as opposed to underneath the car and disturb the high performance vehicle’s delicate down force balance.
The other piece of Vacuum Bagging Carbon Fiber Construction art is the Vorsteiner vented hood complete with power domes. The engine cover utilizes the factory mounting points for easy installation and adds a significant element of aggression to the M3 with its integrated dual vented openings made up of five carbon fiber blades on either side that allows hot air to escape from the engine bay and lowers under hood temperatures which directly increases horse power. The hoods are made with rolled composite carbon fiber edges for durability purposes and so that that they look good from every angle. For those who are more budget minded Vorsteiner offers a single layer carbon fiber hood with a DVWP underside as well as the double sided carbon fiber piece.

The ‘Billboard War’ between Audi and BMW has taken a new life of its own, thanks to the latter’s new Billboard in Ingolstadt, which incidentally, is the home turf of Audi.
If you recall, the two European automakers engaged in a ‘can-you-top-this?’ billboard duel in California, USA last April. The first salvo was thrown by Audi, which created a billboard for the Audi A4 with the tag line ‘Your move, BMW’ at its dealership along Santa Monica Boulevard. Not to be outdone, BMW commissioned Juggernaut Advertising, which came up with a brilliant response to Audi’s billboard. Across the street from the Audi billboard was put up, BMW produced a bigger billboard of its BMW M3 with the simple tag-line of ‘Checkmate’ – a direct reference to Audi’s slogan.

Its true that the current generation BMW M3 is without a doubt a genuine high performance machine, but the older E46 M3 is still looking as good as ever and can be had at quite a discount. So why ditch your slightly used car in favor of a brand new one especially when you can add a tuning kit like G-Power’s. The performance upgrade will not only boost the output of your Bimmer’s straight six up to 450 HP but will also increase handling performance and add some style with a new set of rolling stock. One of the best features of the G-Power kit is that there is no need to crack open the engine to fit forged pistons or reinforced connecting rods. Even the exhaust is left just like it came from the factory spitting out the spent gasses that the centrifugal supercharger pumped into the M-tuned engine.
The upgrade package also includes a set of G-POWER’s new Silverstone Diamond alloys measuring 20 inches in diameter and wrapped in very sticky MICHELIN Pilot Sport tires sized 245/30 in the front and 285/25 in the rear to complete the staggered setup. Hidden behind the new rims is a G-POWER coil-over suspension that is aimed at keeping body roll to a minimum and all four corners of the car planted firmly when the G-POWER M3 goes deep into a turn.
Even though you can use the stock exhaust, G-Power also offers a stainless steel sport muffler that features the legendary G-POWER “DEEPTONE” technology for the ultimate sound and performance. If you happen to be a fan of BMW roadsters, you will be happy to know that the kit will also fit the Z4M model.

There is no better finish for any automobile than matte black. There is something about the lack of luster makes it appear to be some sort of stealth craft. If you believed that the matte black BMW X6 was the best looking flat black Bimmer of all time, wait until you see what the North American BMW specialists at Racing Dynamics can do with an M3 Coupe!
For only $3000 RDSport can make you a beauty just like this one.
As it comes from the factory with its carbon fiber roof, 19 inch wheels and high revving 4.0 Liter V8; the BMW M3 coupe is a very desirable machine. The problem the Bavarian automakers are facing is how to improve upon a good thing. They have solved this dilemma by announcing the production of the M3 Edition. This limited production M3 coupe is powered by the same great 420 HP V8 as the standard model, except both the interior and exterior are adorned with upgrades and accents that make the Edition models very unique BMWs.
The M3 Edition models take the outstanding features of the M3 and dress them up with a new layer of style. Starting with four new individualized colors like Alpine White, Dakar Yellow and Monte Carlo Blue; the BMW design team also added a few exterior modifications, like a blacked out treatment for the grill, side mirrors, tailpipes and even the light weight alloys. The chassis has also been lowered by about 0.4 inches not only set these M3s apart from the rest of the field, but also improves handling.
On the inside, the Edition M3s are set apart from the crowd with Carbon Structure Leather trim and soft black Novillo Leather covering the seats. The piping and stitching is made to match the vehicle’s exterior color. With a production run limited to just six months, the BMW M3 Edition is the perfect option for the driver who never wants to see another car like their’s on the road.
