2010 BMW M3 by ARKYM

A California based tuner by the name of ARKYM revealed a new tuning kit for the BMW M3 Coupe . So, what do you think, can Americans tune German cars? We say, not this time, as this is one of the ugliest vehicles we have seen. That begin said, ARKYM did an excellent job with the M3 Aero, but this overall look is just wrinkled-up nose disgusting. For the sake of information, let’s go over some of the changes.

What ARKYM typically likes doing with its projects is combine quality products and unique ideas to create "original, brand name, products at a fair and competitive market value." This particular package includes an Aerorace Hood ($1,999), Aerorace trunk boot lid (a single side carbon priced at $1249 and a double side carbon priced at $1699), Aerosport front lip ($549), and Aerosport rear diffuser ($449). As expected, carbon fiber is used all around with each piece being 100% form fitting.

That’s all we know so far on this tuning kit for the BMW M3 E92 as the tuner has not announced if the kit allows for any performance upgrades. We don’t expect any because the last BMW M3 ARKYM worked on was devoid of any performance enhancements.

UPDATE 12/20/2010: Arkym has taken their BMW M3 - which they call the AeroRace One, out to the Spring Mountain Motorsports Ranch for a little shakedown. In this video, the AeroRace One makes a name for itself by passing a number of its competitors, including the 2010 Lotus Exige , the 2008 Ferrari F430 , the 2009 Porsche 997 GT2 , the 2007 Porsche GT3 RS , and the 2010 Nissan GT-R . We still don’t have performance numbers, but we’re thinking Arkym wants this video to speak for the M3.

Check out the specifications for the AeroRace One after the jump.

As expected from the M3, it has an impressive M package! I like the decent and elegant styling of the vehicle! It seems that ARKYM offers an impressive aftermarket version here.

I think the kidney grille doesn’t look on this design it actually kills the classic look of the car. Its much better if they use a simple one like grille. However, i like the those wheels, they are awesome!

I think my eyebrows raised with this statement "Americans tune German cars". Based from what i know Germans makes the most amazing tuning kit. But honestly, I wonder how will it sound if that thing happen. Aside from that, i agree that the design is freaking disgusting!

This car is available on the stateside on the competition package. But the wheel looks like the previous model M3 CSL wheels without center caps.

5400 lbs, high riding, but no off road capability? No thanks. For off road, I’d taken an equally gluttonous Land Crusher (er, Cruiser). For on road, give me an M5 Touring

Given the choice between an X6M and a H2 is kind of a tough call, and depends on on-road vs off-road. Can we have both?

The Jet Black ARKYM AeroRace Kit for the BMW M3 also includes full double side carbon for both the hood and trunk and a vent on the hood that is fully functional.

Oh My God, this is what I been waiting for on my E90 M3! This is the best looking kits anywhere for E9x M3“Awesome “

Vwell this is not something entirely novel for body kit companies to make these claims, but taking a look at ARKYM’s product shows that the proof is in the pudding.

I’m just thrilled that some companies are still kicking strong and thinking outside the box instead of simply replicating what’s existing at a cheaper price.

The AeroRace Kit includes full double-sided carbon fiber on the hood and the trunk, freeing up weight while giving it a nice and fresh aggressive design.

Showing that the economy is truly turning around, the aftermarket industry (fueled by disposable income) continues to pick up steam. Recently ARKYM announced its AeroRace Kit for the BMW E92 M3.

well not quite remember the M3 that was modified in Dubai? that is the most aggressive m3 ever. try to check the spec also the kits... this one is no match with that.

Impressive, this is the most aggressive m3 I’ve ever seen in topspeed. simple yet has the killer looks, I wonder how much would i spent to have my m3 coupe look like this.

Designed for the track as well as the street, they equipped with an adjustable suspension and a fixed rear subframe. The front splitter and rear wing can also be adjusted. with additional roll bar, a fire extinguisher, and wiring for a remote kill switch.

Wow! That’s an expensive BMW. ARKYM has made it so fine that this machine so expensive.
