2010 BMW M3 Coupe Frozen Gray by Turner Motorsports

  Review

When BMW revealed the Frozen Gray M3 Coupe back in June, they announced that only 30 units would be produced. Now, one of those units has surfaced in the hands of Turner Motorsports, who decided that the limited edition model needed a little more exclusivity, and a lot more power to get it ready for the track.

Turner did not announce any details on the car’s future specifications, but the picture revealed new 18x10" Volk Racing G2 Forged wheels painted in a Formula Silver finish and wrapped in 275/35 Continental Grand-Am spec race slicks.

What the tuner didn’t do was change the Frozen Gray paint - which if you remember comes with a laundry list of upkeep rules - that makes the BMW as special as it is. The interior flows right along with the gray exterior combining Fox Red with a Black bi-color Novillo leather. The Frozen Gray M3 Coupe will come equipped with the new Competition Package that includes Electronic Damping Control, 19” light-alloy wheels, lowered suspension, sport mapping for EDC, and DSC.

That Grey is pretty cool. Although being British, I think all European gems like M3’s shouldn’t be sold in the US. You get to keep all of your over powered shoddily built cheapo muscle car crap so it’s only fair we save something for ourselves!

Its very easy to find this car in a less expensive and easier to repair paint color. Paying a premium for it and taking it racing is a dumb idea IMO; maybe the PR value is worth it.

The car was a pathetic excuse for a limited edition to begin with. It’s not like the car was a CSL, GTS, or GTR. And besides, TM is a very respectable BMW tuning/racing shop, they’ll take good care of it. Better a rare car be "ruined" on the racetrack than in the hands of some 18 yo w/rich parents.

Wow, fantastic! That’s a very nice coupe and very good choice of color, its color perfectly suites its body design.
