Not one to be left out of the auto tuning madness going around these days, German tuning firm, Hartge->ke1191, has revealed the latest program for the BMW X6->ke2396. As BMW->ke178’s pre-eminent luxury SUV, the X6 has been the subject of countless modifications from a number of tuning houses in the past, with one of them being Herbet Hartge and his boys.

With this new package, the German tuning house from Beckingen, Germany offers a wide range of modifications on the X6, including a number of exterior and interior refinements and a performance upgrade.

Judging by their reputation in the auto tuning world as one of the best aftermarket shops to bring your BMWs, there’s no denying that Hartge went all out in giving the X6 a complete overhaul that only a tuning house like Hartge can provide. Apart from BMWs, these guys have also built a reputation as master tuners for MINI->ke57 and Range Rover->ke469.

For now though, the onus is on the BMW X6, so check out what these guys did after the jump.

Exterior and Interior

Known for being one of the best dressers for the BMW X6, Hartge certainly lived up to their reputation with the new exterior package for the SUV. First, Hartge added an aerodynamic kit in PU-RIM primed and with ABE homologation consisting of a front spoiler, left and right side sills, a rear skirt, as well as two stainless steel tail pieces with quadrilateral tail pipes measuring 170x85 mm. Another new addition to the X6 are sport spring sets that include a level control system for the rear axle, lowering the car by about 30mm. Then, there’s the matter of outfitting the SUV with Hartge emblems, which can be found at the boot lid and bonnet of the SUV, and carbon casings for the side mirrors. Last, but certainly not least, is the set of 22” Harge ‘Classic 2’ wheels - 10.5 x 22 inch offset 33 with 295/30 ZR 22 tyres at the front and 12.0 x 22 inch offset 23 with 335/25 ZR 22 at the rear – that has been added to the X6 to complete the exterior overhaul of the SUV.

Hartge also made certain to dress up the interior to suit the overall new styling package. Among the additions include a special carbon interior trim for the dashboard, panels, and console. Hartge also gave the steering wheel a three-spoke leather finish with optional carbon inserts and a 186mph speedometer with a new silver-metallic dial and red needles. The German tuning firm is also including other options in the package, among them being a set of two aluminum pedals for the automatic transmission variants with a matching footrest and floor mats made from velour and available in a variety of colors.

Performance

Similar to the last X6 that Harge and his boys modified, the new tuning package used a performance module as a supplementary control unit fitted in the engine compartment to improve the SUV’s overall output from 306 horsepower to 345 horsepower and increasing the amount of torque from 443 lb/ft to 516 lb/ft. The new package also improves the X6 xDrive 40d’s time sheet across the board, shaving off 0.6 seconds off of its 0-60mph time with an increased top speed of 154mph.

Price

The price tag for the whole package is available upon request from Hartge.
